That’s not being very Christian Nicky especially at Christmas

To be fair I don’t think many people are too concerned about her wellbeing .

I thought it was laughable to hear her brother complaining about her being kept in cramp conditions where she’s been detained

It’s sickening how this woman ‘seduced’ those poor girls into believing they were going to have a lovely time and then she’d push them into a bedroom to be violently raped ... then she smiled at them as they came out of the bedroom

She actively participated on several occasions too, which makes her very much a sexual predator.

Vanessa 31-12-2021 03:56 PM

I find it hard to feel sorry for her.
Because some of the victims were as young as 13.
This is awful!

Niamh. 31-12-2021 05:20 PM

I don't think anyone feels sorry for her Vanessa

Time for the rich and powerful to be put where they belong for their crimes.

It only happens if we the people demand it. If we let them get away with it, then they'll accept our offer and will get away with it.

Now, forget about all this and place your attention on something else. What you think about Covid?

Alf 31-12-2021 08:57 PM

So, the woman has rightfully gone to prison but what about all those other men and women that went to the Island? Are they all innocent? Are the authorities doing their job?

If you're feeling low like this Nicky you might wanna consider maybe taking a break from the Internet to get away from stories of this nature for a bit.

I know that I have to do it sometimes as it can psychologically mess you up reading info on these crimes avidly.

I hope that you're doing okay since it's turned to New Yar.

we have old crappy over crowded prisons, so we just cant handle justice the same way. If we had the space, i can guarantee more people would be locked up for longer sentences.

What I don't get in the UK is why we don't only have our Prisons for Murderers, Rapists & Paedophiles (or MAPS if we go with the PC term) whilst every other crime gets Community Service, but that's just my opinion I guess.

Bit odd isn't it that one of the jurors had experienced sexual abuse, thought that question would have been top of the list when they culled the jurors..she might get a mistrial now :suspect:

Sadly, not really, because the number of women who have experienced sexual abuse or assault at some point in their life is staggeringly high.

But I guess saying "no one with any experience of abuse is allowed" is one way to ensure that you get a jury stacked with well-off blokes who have no idea what they're looking at and would have little empathy even if they did.

Yep ... I’d go with that .. maybe have the less serious cases doing some useful physical work as a penance

He allegedly put No on the questionnaire, sounds well dodgy, he might have been paid off

Coming back to selecting the jury I am no expert but in a case like this I would have thought anyone who experienced sexual assault would not be allowed to sit on the jury

Everything connected to this case sticks of corruption and cover ups.

It's not just your opinion as Neither do I Mock.
I agree with all you've said.
Really strong points.

Only those who commit violence, destruction, murders, and sex offences too.
Are who I'd use prisons for.
Any who may be deemed a physical threat to any other.

Muggers can at times walk free from Courts while someone stealing something gets locked up.
Bonkers.
