I personally agree with you that song choice shouldn't matter too much, but the studio audience are gonna get more behind someone singing a song from Rocky than they are from whatever it was that Heather was singing.

We also saw that Panda getting a currently popular singer tonight edged her past Bagpipe.

Oh and I agree that Gabrielle should've made the final.

Maybe .. but I've noticed the more sillier ones are getting through, bagpipes was the weakest and the judges still saved him.

I think the Show likes to have a couple of joke acts in the lineup.

Unfortunately for Snow Leopard she was kinda caught in a bit of a difficult bottom three imo.

At one point in the VT Bagpipes says "let's have some fun" which could be a reference to House Of Fun, plus he has a Scottish Father which would fit the Scottish ancestry clue.

And Doughnuts certainly Michael Owen.

I really don't see this Gary Barlow theory for Poodle, just doesn't match him or his personality.

I actually wondered if Doughnut was Gary Linekar due to the crisps clue,but I think that's a red herring.

Yeah I feel like Doughnut is trying really hard to make us think that it's Gary Lineker but it's really another Footballer instead. And if I'm not mistaken I think that Lineker might've been both Michael Owen & Wayne Rooney's idols when getting into the game themselves, so I think that it's between the two of them if that's what the clue was meant to be.

And I'm glad that I'm not alone on my Bagpipes theory as it is quite out there that the guy from Madness would go and sing Blur.:laugh:
