From all accounts I just see the Media and the public just ripping her apart for anything (including a miscarriage fgs) the only thing where I can't tell if Meghan was in the wrong is ultimately if her & Kate's feud led to Harry & William to fall out with each other.

But the public & the Media have been the aggressors against H&M every step of the way imo, and until one of those two does something to change my mind on that then I'll defend them and say that it's "not their fault" that this country likes to single people out to harass, but of course everyone else in the country is a saint bar H&M in some people's eyes.

I bet that our Media even prefers some criminals to Meghan, it's become that much of a sickness for them.

They published the letter at her fathers request after she had given 4 friends permission to reveal parts of it that painted her father in a bad light with no impartiality to People magazine. What Meghan had told them was out of context (as proven in the court documents). Her father asked the MOS that the letter be published to show the proper context.

Meghan should not have revealed personal conversations and lied while doing so to her unsuspecting friends, who took her words at face value, right?

Obviously any wrongdoing from Meghan in this case isn't right, but the DM did lose the case so the Courts have also taken issue with the way they conducted their "investigation."

It was nothing to do with the way they conducted any investigation - there was no 'investigation' by them?? - the MOS (not the DM) simply published the letter in full instead of just the relevant parts which would have shown Meghan had deceived by not giving the proper context.
The MOS lost because publishing the non - relevant parts was a breach of privacy and is currently unlawful. It was as simple as that.

I have never, not just on this, ever had any liking for the ' Mail publications.
Across near all issues.
I wouldn't believe much in it as it operates from whatever its agenda is to issues or people rather than truth and facts, in my opinion.
Why people spend hundreds of pounds a year on this publication and indeed other so called news publications, is a mystery to me.
However they do, so fine, hundreds of pounds a year thrown into recycling bins.

I rarely comment on these threads, there's in my view no point.

However when there has been a clear, decision and ruling from the Courts, that the Duchess of Sussex is and was right, also justified to bring this action.
With the Mail being told repeatedly they were and are in the WRONG.

Then even that the victory won is picked at with near derision of their child's charity they set up and on about their finances.

This was likely never about money, this was from what she saw as a part of the media launching personal attacks on herself and her privacy.
It led to her determination to fight back, which she has and where she has WON all through too even against the further appeals of the gutter trash Mail.

That is the real victory, not finance.

Criminals are fined or imprisoned for many reasons.
H&M are ridiculed for many reasons.

Like Sheriff said, there will always be interest in the Royals. The ‘new generation’, the sons of Princess Diana and their wives are especially always going to be closely scrutinised. Meghan and Harry's attention seeking when they said they wanted a more private life, their outright lies, hypocrisies, manipulations, deceptions, pity partying etc lead to them being ridiculed.
Those in the public who don't have much interest in the Royals don't know the half of their devious shenanigans so don't understand peoples disdain of their actions.
