episode 8
Spoiler: |
Well, I gave the last episode a go.
Wasn't feeling it before this last episode. I thought I was going to fall asleep with it being 2.5 hours long but I thought it was very good. There was very little dialogue, which has just been boring before hand, and more action. All the romances I just don't feel them. Without spoiling it for anyone else it needs to stop now. All things need to come to an end and it was a brilliant ending, but to carry it on is going to get very boring I think. Obviously they are carrying it on because..... In regards to the acting, the goofy one with braces was 100% stand out for me. He really performed in the last episode and I believed his emotion and my eyes event wet up when he was talking to the dad towards the end. I would have expected better acting from Winona considering she's suppose to be good? I just found her character unbelievable and the silly faces she pulled which isn't acting. Very little emotion from here in scenes that required it too, couldn't even cry. |

Nancy really irritates me as an actress - I can’t put my finger on it but she reminds me of how they act in Friends and the like Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |
Also am I the only one who didn't love Eddie Munson? I found him a bit cringey in his acting and also

Also im not sure if anyone could answer this for me but it bugged me all season a major flaw in the story line.
They knew to use music to save Max because that is how the dad of One said he survived the demon. But then later in the season it was shown that the dads story was completely made up and that the demon didnt exist. I just didnt like how this all added up. |

Also the dads story wasn't completely made up, Henry wasn't Vecna in the upside down yet but he did have powers back then and was able to hurt people (see how he killed everyone at the hospital) Nancy and Robin thought the dad hearing his favourite song (Dream a Little Dream) was what saved him because the dad said he remembers listening to it but what actually saved him was that Henry still wasn't as powerful as he would later become and he passed out because he'd over stretched himself with his powers
|
Theres also talk that way saved will in the upside down was when they played should I stay or should I go. But with vecna doing all this all along its weird he didn't kill will, or try and lift him up etc like everyone else. Maybe will didn't have a trauma that vecna was interested in?
However I think Will might prove to have been evil all along. He was worried in this season and surely it's more than just a story of being gay |

Also just watching the final episode again now as fancied it, I think another reason Eddie sacrificed himself is that he would have just been put in prison and had everyone hate him whether he survive or not, we saw that on his missing poster, so he didn't want to be a coward and run away he wanted to be a hero, it was a way to protect Dustin and allow the plan of killing vecna to be given the best chance |
