just seen an analysis on the effect those poll figures would have on the electoral map. The tories would lose 373 seats and retain 3 :joker:

Tory mp's are not going to let that proceed

The actual % may be off, but the trend is as clear as day. The tories are ****ed since Truss took over

There is no way Labour don't take Goverment in 18 months timea

I was watching Talk TV this morning and they had on some 'top' guy in politics - I had never heard of him before.

But there he was saying 'Liz has all the wrong advisors. She needs the right advisors to give her the best advice.'

So what he's saying is that Liz Truss is the PM, is so stupid she cannot think for herself and needs other people (some as young at 21, straight out of university) to advise her - tell her what's right to do.:hehe:

Excuse, shouldn't world leaders be above all that? Shouldn't they have intelligence and make the right decisions, that's why they're leaders.

Pathetic.

That poll does seem way out.
However there are 3 others out which state leads for Labour from 17% to 21%

I'm always sceptical on opinion polls but those kind of figures even if wrong to the maximum of polling errors.
As bots said, show any march of a trend.
Against the Cons.

I still could never believe the Cons were on 21%
The other polls indicate 28/29%.
That seems much more the case for me.

Poor Liz got her own energy policy wrong on one of her radio interviews yesterday and said energy was capped at 2,500 and no one would pay more than that :skull:

its the unit price that is capped if you use more you pay more, if you use less you pay less, 2,500 is an example of a typical household use

 She's hopeless.

Actually for being a Prime Minister, her interview performances on them all yesterday was extremely bad.

I didn't realise it was her at first...she sounded like a novice...and this woman is running the country!!!
Tbh I have not liked her from the start...does she know what she is doing????

I know I am politically biased against her.
However I've never taken to her.

This seems to be her style unfortunately but for me she's another of those more than usual deluded politicians.
Who sadly for her hasn't got any sort of presention skills whatsoever.
Who also fails to keep on top of all she should.

Therein exposing another problem.
She can't think on her feet.
Bombard her with questions then her way is lost near completely.

Of all the candidates that even stood, to have ended up with Truss is near unbelievable.

Cherie 14-10-2022 03:24 PM

There is a theory that all this was orchestrated to indeed reinstate Bojo

I literally can't think anyone actually thought Truss would be any good

bots 14-10-2022 03:31 PM

Boris must be looking on and laughing his head off. Boris could make a comeback if he gets the support in the party, but whatever happens now, the tories will lose the next election

Stranger things have happened …

It would be great to see Boris back in charge and sacking all those who stabbed him in the back :)

Im sure Megs will use Truss' resignation as an opportunity to bring up something about her, and her feelings, and how Truss resigning reminded her of a time when she was oppressed and all that. :hehe::smug:
