Protests in Paris
getting violent again, today

On all news media.

Tomorrow, France will find out

[The protest movement against raising
the pension age from 62 to 64 is the biggest
domestic crisis of Macron’s second term,
with the strikes affecting refineries, bin collections,
rail transport, air travel and schools.
Authorities in Paris and several other cities were
braced for clashes between police and protesters.]

The French going crazy about retirement at 64.

Our lot have pushed our age up to 66, it's planned to be 67 sooner than later too.

We just roll over and take it.
Weak as water.

Oh I've been on marches and protests before parmnion.
If I believe action is right then I'll support it in person not from just an armchair.

Door to door campaigning overall is really enjoyable.
Yes you get some vile comments from some extreme individuals.

Most of the time you are actually meeting many nice people.
With interesting and good life experiences and stories.
No matter what their politics are.
Many with problems too to listen to, so many to learn a lot from too.
Which I enjoy immensely.

I have also protested, usually against the police and paedophile protecting individuals in power.(you can even see me on YouTube doing so)

Your canvassing life also sounds very similar to my old job of fixing the tvs..a job I also enjoyed immensely due to its diversity on every job.

I guess you would get that same interaction with others when fixing TVs too.
I love hearing others life stories and their observations too.
I agree it is really enjoyable and satisfying.

I get it from the warmth of the living room though, so its not the same as you, standing snivelling in the wet outside on the doorstep.
