However with the way our voting system works is virtually impossible to have an underdog situation. |

I thought that she was going for immigrants in general. When it comes to Immigration I feel like every Country needs it, but the one thing I think that every country should be doing (the UK obviously included) is to make sure that we're not allowing hardened criminals to immigrate to the Country, because I have heard of cases where the UK has allowed scum of the earth to come to this country, and imo that needs to stop. |
I have to smile in a sad way when the left get accused of the mess the UK finds itself
Since the war, the Cons have governed for 48+ years of the 78 years since the war. In the last 50 years, the Cons have governed in strong right wing ways. For over 31 years of those 50 years. If anyone is failing and messing things up there is the more than likely answer. Plus please no one ever try to tell me that Tony Blair was governing from the left either. |

It might even have been Rishi during PMQs, not sure. |

That in itself will cause issues for folks who already hate seeing the amount of brown faces they currently have to see. Wildlife is being destroyed purposefully, again, in order to protect the profits of corporations and capital. There is enough for everyone to live comfortably in a pristine green land. In Norway, they tax energy companies at 78%. This money paid for the increased energy bills, invests in the country and communities, and have built up a sovereign wealth fund of $1trillion. The solution is staring every one of us in the face, but instead of holding power to account, we're too busy fighting manufactured culture wars |

Norway’s doing just fine without all the crap that’s gurgitated in this side of the West and when it comes to certain things they’re so much more efficient. Likewise for Finland.

Our government could never.

See how apathetic you really are? On culture war issues, you'll go for days, and that's exactly how manufactured culture wars are supposed to work. Riling folks up about stuff that doesn't affect their lives, to replace stuff that does matter. Not a criticism of you, by the way, because we have most of this island acting in exactly the same way. |
Braverman is the most extremist home secretary we have ever had. No-one should ever treat her with anything other than contempt. There may be a strand or 2 of truth in what she says, but that is always the tactic extremists use to gain traction on their predominantly false arguments

And it's not that I'm apathetic, I don't give the bigger issues a whole lot of thought, apart from in general terms. I generically dislike big corporations and big governments, and I prioritse the environment above all else. But unless there's a specific issue or instance, I don't have a whole lot to say. Locally, I've been part of and started several campaigns to protect green areas from "having their potential unlocked", and successfully at that! So I don't think it's fair to say I'm apathetic tbh |
More people have come to Britain as immigrants since 1997 than came here between 1950
and the Battle of Hastings in 1066. |

It says a lot about any voters who do support her discriminative, divisive extreme rhetoric too. Awful just awful. |
