And it was hypothetical

the rules are pretty clear, you don't need to name names to influence others

the rules are your votes must not be influenced, she was asking Henry to make the decision for her...?

and I refer you to my earlier post about BB telling them after the Hallie and Olivia incident that there would be more consequences if they broke the rules again, so BB following through with that

i love the way forum members are tying themselves in knots trying to justify Yinruns behaviour

vesavius 26-10-2023 08:46 AM

She was upset that her punishment changed the outcome and put people up who maybe wouldn't have been. It's actually a huge thing (in the context of the house and the game).

She is allowed that.

Her being upset and being regretful didn't hurt anyone, I don't see why it's considered bad.

I've agreed with it.

As to Yinrun, I think she did overdo things.
It wasn't a strong punishment although I felt it was a weak rule break anyhow.

I think she had after all said much about breaking rules that to find herself pulled up for breaking them.
Left her unsure how to cope with that.
Had they actually shown her noms to the others.
Her embarrassment would have been greatly increased.

Yes plus she had been found to have broken the rules

All the above led her being so upset and inconsolable for so long

Though I think you can understand her a bit better if you take notice of the actual cause of her distress.

All of this, people are just desperately looking for reasons to dislike her because she’s a nice, harmless person and that can’t stand

Atake25 26-10-2023 09:35 AM

The crying was over the top but I believe her upset was genuine , she was gutted that Trish was up and she assumed it was her fault

Kazanne 26-10-2023 09:39 AM

I like her but last night was way over the top ,she is 25 not 2, it was ridiculous and I think quite false, I still like her but wont be supporting her if she keeps playing on her sweetness. At the same time the same punishment should have been given to Hallie and Olivia.

caprimint 26-10-2023 01:32 PM

The crying seemed really extreme for the situation, not sure whether it was 100% legit tbh

I still really like her and she's still my favourite but crying like that was very OTT and silly

I think if she hadn't mentioned a name but had either made it clear who she was talking about or narrowed it down to a particular group, that would be against the rules.

But all we can be sure of is that she probably wasn't talking about Henry

Yeah it's obvious she was more upset about Trish being up ,you could tell in the garden...she was saying she isn't bothered about jail .

And in the storeroom when she got her jumpsuit she felt so bad for Trish ...she said " how can Trish be up " , she's worried for her friend...which I found sweet. Even if the crying was a bit hammy lol.

The infantile Asian lady act is so see-through for anyone unafraid to occasionally think the worst of people's intentions

Crimson Dynamo 26-10-2023 08:51 PM

Offending who?

The standard Tibb narrative?

Maru 27-10-2023 03:16 AM

A bit amusing the Top 3 most childish people in the house have been put in BB baby jail.

Her being Asian is... an act? What a really weird thing to say.

But, always seeking the worst in the intentions of others probably isn't the win that you think it is.

No, I think the key word in Jayson's post is infantile. He's not saying she isn't Asian at all. That would be silly.

Imo she has a gameplay, a huge one, and it's working. But I can see right through her. I don't dislike her don't get me wrong, but I don't want her to win.

He was clearly saying that she was 'acting Asian'. As in playing it up as a persona.

I mean, you can try and reframe it but it is literally there.

He wasn't though, not as I read it.
