I remember when there was talk of moving the show from C4 to ITV back in the day I always thought it’d be a terrible idea because they love censoring the mildest of content to appease their audience, and here we are, sixteen years on, where they’re consistently censoring a *live stream* not just for the usual legal reasons, but to retain content for the highlights show. It’s a fundamental misunderstanding of both the format and the upsides of what a live feed can do for traffic

Censoring this argument is pathetic. Putting bird noise over sexual conversations (as they have done) is pathetic. And what’s more pathetic is, they’ll ditch the crumbs they’re giving us next year likely saying “nobody watched”, because everyone’s switching off the bird noise that’s why

:clap1:

Absolutely spot on.

They better cancel the whole eviction! , or just have a single eviciton!.

GlitterUK 02-11-2023 11:33 PM

I wodner if the show will get extended or something. Maybe cancel eviction and BBLL and just have a longer main show.

It's driving me mad not knowing:fist:

I think BB pushed the housemates too far this week, it surprised me to see them making Trish answer a question that would stir the pot even further, and they seemingly gave the house alcohol tonight when tensions are high

BB5 fight night all over again , but atleast with that we actually saw what was happening. It seems BB is hiding drama this year :suspect: .

BB has clearly wanted something to happen... so has definitely forced this tension , the whole Yinrun party with extra alcohol... and the button task with Trish.

GlitterUK 02-11-2023 11:51 PM

BB know what they are doing building it up for the ITV 1 show tomorrow. In the hope everyone will turn on to see what happened. Sadly if they continue to show the live feed the way they do they will have people switching off not tuning in.

In cooking terms, it's as though BB were making a very weak soup, and so to spice things up a little, they poured petrol in it and then threw in a Molotov cocktail.

They can never get the balance right , this will just annoy alot of fans the way they've handled things :bored: . I bet BB will get axed again and then another channel will buy it again  .

I could walk up to your table in a restaurant and eat something off your plate. This would be a silly move

GlitterUK 03-11-2023 12:18 AM

What was the coloured stick in Dylans hand?Could that be a weapon of some kind? Maybe taken off a housemate? He places it on a table.

GoldHeart 03-11-2023 12:23 AM

I'm wondering now if someone's been hit or had something thrown at them.

GlitterUK 03-11-2023 12:26 AM

It looks like an extra long pinata you see Noky walking in all white and then Dylan places that on the table. Dylan looks calm placing it so I wonder if it is Paul who has been removed. If it was him angry he would have thrown it down.

jones89 03-11-2023 12:26 AM

Where you all seeing these things going on?

GlitterUK 03-11-2023 12:28 AM

It was shown on the BBLL video. But then again if it was kicking off would Yinrun be eating some snacks and Chanelle/Tom and Jenkin all just watch. You would think they would be in the zone where it is all happening. If anything is happening haha. Would be funny if it was just technical issues.

Scarlett. 03-11-2023 12:32 AM

I've seen people saying Channel 4 would have shown the argument like they did with Fight Night, but they definitely would not have, they very nearly got in big legal trouble after that

GlitterUK 03-11-2023 12:39 AM

It makes me wonder if we will ever get the real story. We will get en edited version tomorrow no doubt but things like the lead up has always been good to see.

The timing right before the first ITV1 eviction is highly suspect.

Zizu 03-11-2023 01:21 AM

My take on this is that because Trish is at the centre of it that means that they will have to show us the essence of what happened at the very start of tomorrow’s program then we can quickly make a judgment and then vote ??

My thoughts exactly

Trish in particular has been put through the mill this week and will need a lot of flaming
counselling - even after that little fracas with her naming Tom she went away from the others to lie down !!

The rules on what can and what cannot be shown on live tv are significantly different to what they were 20 years ago. You wont see an argument or a fight that could escalate on live TV for obvious reasons

I remember, years ago, watching a live local uk news broadcast, where a guy had built a structure that didn't have planning permission, and the council spokesman came along with police and builders to knock it down. The guy who built the structure pulled out a gun, pointed it at the council spokesman and shot him dead .... all on live tv

The rules for live broadcast changed from that moment forward

Vanessa 03-11-2023 04:48 AM

It could still be Dylan and Trish. We will have to wait for tonight to find out.
Probably wasn't a smart idea to give them a oinata when there's tension in the house.
