The case gets stranger, where is the girls Mum

The Head of Norfolk police has just been skewered by ITV Anglia as to why they didn't respond to the first 999 call

He cant talk about it of course

Arista, you are making your own story and telling it like it is fact

Ammi 23-01-2024 01:25 PM

…sadly I think that Arista is probably correct…the police aren’t looking to question anyone else and the post-mortem won’t be carried out until tomorrow on the children but the police have confirmed ‘injuries’ were inflicted …the father was scheduled for a psyche evaluation a few weeks before but didn’t attend and left the hospital without any mental health assessment…that was mid December, just after he was reported as a missing person….its all very tragic….

Ammi 23-01-2024 01:28 PM

…the sad irony is that the Nofolk Police have adopted a scheme and policy of ‘Right Care for Right Person’ in the hope to give appropriate trained care for those with struggling mental health issues…

Niamh. 23-01-2024 01:30 PM

That's awful. Stories like this are just horrendous when they could have been prevented with better care and mental health issues like this being taken more seriously

[The details of this call have now been

tbf Arista, I don't think the guy was evil, he was obviously extremely mentally unwell and tried to get help, this could have been prevented if someone had taken him seriously. Those poor little girls though, their mother is never going to get over this either. Horrible story all round

bots 23-01-2024 04:08 PM

Someone at the 999 call centre probably had a tick list and the guy didn't trigger enough ticks during the call to justify a visit

Police have today confirmed that two girls discovered alongside the bodies of a man and woman at a house in Costessey died of knife wounds.
A Home Office post-mortem examination carried out earlier today, Wednesday 24 January, found the cause of death for both girls was knife wounds to the neck.

This follows the discovery of four bodies by police, provisionally named as Bartlomiej Kuczynski, 45, Kanticha Sukpengpanao, 36, Jasmin Kuczynska , aged 12 and Natasha Kuczynska, aged eight, subject to formal identification taking place and confirmation at formal inquest proceedings.

All four bodies were discovered by police officers at a house in Allan Bedford Crescent on Friday 19 January following a call from a member of the public that morning.

Previous Home Office post-mortem examinations were carried out on Sunday 21 January and established the woman died as a result of stab wounds to the neck while the man died as a result of a stab wound to the neck.

Following the cause of deaths being established, detectives have confirmed that the deaths of Kanticha, Jasmin and Natasha are being treated as murder. The death of Bartlomiej is not being treated as suspicious and officers are not looking for anyone else in connection with the deaths. Detectives will continue with their enquiries for the coronial process.

Detective Chief Inspector Chris Burgess, who is leading the investigation, said: “We understand how incredibly shocking this incident is for all involved and for the wider community and that this latest update adds to the sense of heartbreak. Our thoughts are with the family of the those found at the property grieving such a traumatic loss.

tbh this throws a different light on things, if all he said was he was in a confused state and did not mention that he felt like killing anyone you can see why the police did not attend? there should be some referral onto mental health services though rather than asking the caller to do that, like if they had patched him through to the Samaritans maybe the outcome might have been different

This.

It's tragic all round imo.

And that's twice now that I've heard of Police ignoring calls for help, as Baby Bronson also died due to Police incompetence.

Don't get me wrong I don't want them being too forceful in society, but doing the basics of what a Police Officer should be is essential to any functioning society.

But I forgot an Autistic person saying that someone looks like a Lesbian is far more important to the UK Police, even though no laws were actually broken in that case.

Coroner weeps at opening of inquests into Norfolk stabbing deaths…

A coroner wept as she opened inquests into the deaths of four members of the same family who were found stabbed to death at a house in Norfolk.

Samantha Goward became emotional as she read a statement describing how eight-year-old Natasha Kuczynska had died from stab wounds to the neck at her home in Costessey, near Norwich.

Ms Goward apologised before wiping away tears as she continued with the inquest opening at Norfolk Coroners’ Court, in Norwich, on Wednesday.

She opened the inquest into Natasha before opening separate hearings into the deaths of Natasha’s 12-year-old sister Jasmin, their father Bartlomiej Kuczynski, 45, and their 36-year-old aunt Kanticha Sukpengpanao, who was visiting from her home in Thailand.
