half Trumps favourites to become VP have said exactly the same about Trump. The fact is Lammy has already been over to America and talked to Trumps team and they got on fine

Only because it's LABOUR, because I didn't see you making great criticisms of firstly Johnson who started this deep rooted rot in the Conservative Party. Even to trying to protect one of his MPs who is accused of being a sexual predator. Then the 2 proven disasters following after Johnson too. |

Sure it's a little refreshing to have a change from the Tories, especially after 15 years of a total sh1t show . And Starmer especially in his early honeymoon stage will make some decent policies. But I don't have much faith in Labour after that ,and I can predict a riot of backstabbing, but i guess nothing is new with politics. And the conservatives were embarrassing and deceitful throughout , without a care for the working class , completely out of touch etc . I guess we'll see how things go. But the Tories and the whole COVID / party gate mess will always be their biggest downfall, and I never supported them to begin with. And certain MP's going in the jungle to promote themselves, just about sums up the farce of it all . |

I see it hasn't taken long for the sleeze to appear. I see Starmer has put that loser Jacqui Smith into the House of Lords and gave her a job in the new government.
I'll never forget that woman because she tried to get the tax payer to pay off her mortgage. Nothing short of fraud in my view.:fist: Iain Dale crawls up her @rse. Now Starmer. I cannot stand the woman.:fist:  |

Former home secretary Jacqui Smith will join the House of Lords to become higher education minister, Downing Street said. While Douglas Alexander, who held several cabinet roles in the last Labour government, is now a business minister after returning as an MP for the first time since losing his seat in 2015. The new posts are part of a small number of new ministerial appointments made by the prime minister on his first full day in office. Ellie Reeves, the sister of Chancellor Rachel Reeves, becomes minister without portfolio. Sir Keir has also appointed Ms Reeves - who served as co-director of Labour's election campaign - as Labour Party chair.] https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c51y4vz6900o |
Starmer in Scotland Today.
Wales tomorrow |
I took didn't care too much for Jacqui Smith but I have liked her when on breakfast TV.
I'm really glad to see Douglas Alexander back, I think he was a good Minister in the last Labour government and was really sad when he lost his seat in the 2015 election. Good moves for me so far. |
