Is it true that Rachel Zegler declared herself as "the fairest" out of herself and Gal Gadot?

I'm asking because the info that I got came from a Far Right YouTuber, so I'm trying to give Rachel Zegler the benefit of the doubt here.

…the two ladies have such a lovely bond and friendship and support etc…looking at any of the promo that they’ve done…so I would say that any ‘competing’ is media led only because they love to see that with females, don’t they…they live Hollywood guy-mances/bromances….but not so much with the females of their Hollywood species…

…anyway, cute friendship bond…

Well I was wondering because it wouldn't be the first time that she has put her foot in her mouth.

Agreed.

Nicky91 22-08-2024 08:38 AM

CGI tech ain't lazy at all though

also takes up quite some time to perfect all that on the computer though, same technology used also in Jurassic Park/World films (besides animatronics)

for all we know Rachel might know something more than we do, and this version of Snow White is going to be a pure joy to watch

but yeah confidence could also come across as arrogance quite easily, fair enough but for now i give her the benefit of the doubt, before i've seen it for the first time

i just am saying, i might be one of the few who appreciates those stunning visuals based on the trailer, the attention for detail to live up to the quality of the classic also looking good, the original music being used, also great

Gal Gadot is a phenomenal actress, very diverse actress too, good new career venture for her for once to play an iconic villain

Nicky91 22-08-2024 08:40 AM

you should show more respect to those who do all the hard work behind the scenes, and that is a lot of crew, whom kinda work 24/7 to get everything right

The dislikes on a YouTube video shouldn't put you off wanting to see it anyway.

live performance of ''Waiting On a Wish''

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
i get the criticism and everything, but i am looking forward to it, when it arrives on disney+, visually it looks very well made, so pretty

i wish Rachel Zegler wouldn't have bashed the original but at least we know for certain she won't be asked for further disney projects i think

as for the dwarfs, it is nicer to use actual actors with dwarfism but is that really a big problem?

the voice acting choices were done quite properly, with Martin Klebba being the most experienced within Disney

also some british representation there in Jeremy Swift as the voice of Doc

jones89 19-03-2025 02:29 PM

Ah i’ll watch it for a laugh… no Disney live action will beat 101 Dalmations sorry :joker:

Nicky91 21-03-2025 07:46 AM

consider me woke all you want, but i myself do not get what the haters are on about

the trailer looks good

that song ''waiting on a wish'' is stunning, you can tell the Greatest Showman songwriters are behind this

Rachel makes a perfect snow white casting looks wise i mean, and she is entitled of her own opinion, same how Peter Dinklage was entitled to bash the stereotype of dwarfs in a cave, maybe that is why actors with dwarfism didn't want to play those characters, and tbh in these modern times you have the most advanced CGI tech so why not use it

replacing the prince with the ''Jonathan'' character to give it more modern spin, i mean why not

a hot bombshell like Gal Gadot as the evil queen, well i mean Lana Perrilla on Once Upon a Time also a gorgeous looking woman as the evil queen, we had Angelina Jolie as Maleficent, whom also looks very beautiful

i see this also more as a case of Trump supporters being butthurt that Rachel Zegler has a own opinion against Trump

but yeah some people need to moan 24/7 about anything :fan:

i mean Little Mermaid was bashed into the ground by those same people either, while the caribbean vibes fitted that so so well, and was also made beautifully well comparing classic to original, but with some modern touches here and there

Snow White visually looks on par to the classic, but in places slightly more modern

so yeah i am excited for it

Crimson Dynamo 21-03-2025 08:41 AM

Daily Mail (TWO STARS)

Rating:

Snow White the movie has its charms, and dozens of cute CGI forest animals, but on the whole it is a painfully muddle-headed affair.

The Guardian (ONE STAR)

Rating:

Here is a pointless new live-action musical version of the Snow White myth, a kind of un-Wicked approach to the story and a merch-enabling money machine.

The Independent (ONE STAR)

Rating:

Human beings have been replaced with uncanny CGI caricatures that will make you yearn for the simple horrors of 2004's The Polar Express.

Empire (TWO STARS)

Rating:

Despite committed performances from its leads and years of edits and re-edits, it can’t establish a consistent tone through its real and artificial locations.

The New York Post (TWO STARS)

Rating:

The timeless classic, a groundbreaking achievement for animation, has been turned into another pointless and awkward live-action automaton that vanishes from your mind the second it’s over. 00:00 00:00

Lana Parrilla from Once Upon A Time was beautiful as the Evil Queen I agree, I don't know what she looks like now tbf so that's why I'm speaking about her looks in a past tense.

And Rachel Zegler tbf is not ugly by any means, but being brutally honest they haven't done her any justice by putting her up against Gal Gadot.

I know that the narrative isn't purely on the looks, but it's just hard for me to take it seriously that one of Gal Gadot's characters would be jealous of another woman's looks.

I'm not saying that I personally think that Gal Gadot is the best looking woman of all time (I'm not saying that she isn't either, each to their own on that,) but it's very clear to me that a lot of women should be feeling very confident about their looks if they looked like Gal Gadot, not supposedly jealous of another woman's appearance.

Where as at least Lana Parrilla and Ginnifer Goodwin are more I think equal to each other on Once Upon A Time, so it doesn't look really strange that Regina/The Evil Queen would be jealous about "who the fairest of them all" is meant to be.
