I also don't really like how it's almost framed like because of Ali's profession that makes her qualified to make a full assessment of someone's personality based on very little.

We see a few minutes out of each day - of course we are missing something

Exactly

And Izaaz needs to be careful, one minute it seems he's the peacemaker...but I think he wants to play both sides .but TBF I think he felt put in the middle so I'll let him off,as Ali just started slagging Khaled down ....and i don't think Izaaz knew what to say .

Izaaz clearly thought if he spoke to Ali , that herself and Khaled would clear the air. But it just went horribly wrong...as it seems Ali dislikes Khaled no matter what.

I don't know why people are suspicious of Khaled, i think he's genuine at the moment. And it's ridiculous how even Ryan is jumping on the bandwagon on L& L .

And David & Kate are talking complete BS about how they'd enjoy nomination power, who would enjoy that poisonous chalice??? . Last year the amount of hate Noky got from Olivia & Paul etc was really unpleasant to see .

And judging by the footage ,it looks like Ali is having a go at Khaled again due to the aftermath of the nomination twist . Khaled was in a no win situation. I hope he tries to enjoy his immunity... because no doubt he'll probably get nominated the following week.

Also I'm sensing a house divide ,if the clip on L& L is anything to go by . It looked like Khaled walked away...and Emma, Marcello and someone else was talking to him/ reassuring him separately from the other housemates  .

What I meant was have we missed something serious that Khaled has done that would make their opinions of him more understandable, but that doesn't appear to be the case as nobody else has a problem with him other than Ali and Lily (who isn't exactly the most trustworthy in her judgement).

Even Hannah who had an actual confrontation with Khaled doesn't seem to have an issue with him.

It's really terrible that when someone is just nice or shows concern, people are suspicious. Why are people so paranoid. Nobody thinks Rosie is fake ,and she's friendly with everyone and happy go lucky:shrug: .

Big Brother is continually accused of bad editing or manipulation - maybe Khaled simply isn’t as nice as we think ?

Live stream last night showed Hannah saying that she completely agrees with what Ali said about Khaled BUT didn’t like the way she had handled things

Hanah and Khaled already had a disagreement which made her pretty upset so he was on her radar. So no surprises there. It seems reasonable he'd have his guard up around certain people after that to avoid creating an issue.

I find it hard to believe BB would keep a good villain from us. I think we'll probably find out tonight though what he's like since as HoH he will have to be firmly off the fence.

I like Hannah, but I do wonder if her judgement is clouded by their clash on the whole ' aggy' clash. Both her & Khaled got off on the wrong foot. They seemed to sort things out,but maybe it's still made Hannah misunderstand him.

tbf to Hanah that would have annoyed me too, there is that "angry black woman" stereotype that seems to get rolled out almost every year on BB and she was not being in any way aggressive

Yeah I get where she was coming from , I honestly think Khaled used the wrong word...and didn't mean it that way. They're both from similar cultures & have the same religion...so surely deep down he should have known what Hannah meant, especially now she's told Emma she's a Virgin aswell.

He knows women especially in certain traditional ' beliefs ' ....are expected to wait until they get married , and it's seen as sacred.

…I thought that the discussion they had was Hanah saying that she would consider herself a single person until she was married and that’s her personal decision and something she feels passionately …I don’t think she was speaking from a culture aspect but just for her personally….and because she was passionate in defending that…(…which we all would be, I would think…)…his suggestion/inference was that she was being aggressive in defending her personal choice…that was definitely not a good look for him either…

But it's obvious what she meant and it is rooted in her culture & beliefs , she may date guys but unless they put a ring on her finger and make a commitment...the relationship will not be serious to her hence why she says ' single' .

I think Khaled took it too literal / personal with the whole 'single' comment, as if it was some type of disrespect to a boyfriend she would have, when in reality....I don't think she wants to introduce her family to a boyfriend until she knows they're getting married/ or if marriage is definitely on the cards 100% .

…maybe, but however he took it, it was also a questioning of her own belief which she only applied to herself and no one else…it wasn’t a culture thing in the way she explained it in the conversation, it was a Hanah thing and in maintaining that and even defending it, he suggested that she was being aggressive when she wasn’t…it’s not for him to question any potential boyfriend relationship she has…

He's a nice guy, but I still prefer Lily.

Yeah exactly, it wasn't about what they were talking about, that was irrelevant, it was him commenting on how she was handling herself in that discussion

…exactly, it wasn’t a good look for him …he has no right anyway to question her own personal values and choices…she wasn’t referring to culture, only to what her own stance is…they may have sorted it out but it still happened …for me I’m not going to feel that…oh, for Khaled it was all just a misunderstanding, type thing while for Ali ….well, the standards for that lady are very different…for me if you like, it’s one strike each……but still both showing nice aspects to their character also…
