If you're going to complain about 'slur throwing nonsense' how about being consistent about it.

Where is your energy for people calling others 'nutters', SJWs, ranting about the 'woke left' etc...which is constant on this site. These kind of comments are absolutely reminiscent of the kind of tripe peddling out by GB News so if you consider that comparison a slur then maybe stop contributing and supporting such rhetoric. :laugh: :shrug:

Do you consider 'woke left' a slur? I consider it just a description.... To differentiate from the actually liberal left. What do you find offensive about it?

I never have used 'nutter' or 'SJW' here, or seen others use it. I don't check every post and I am not going start doing so either just to satisfy another's idea of 'consistency'.

I didn't say anything about you, you made it about you. You hadn't even posted in this thread up until you replied to me telling me to stop throwing around slurs, so you injected yourself into the conversation and have now made out like I have personally attacked you?

It all seems very weird for someone who believes offensive is only taken and never given.

It's used in a derogatory manner on here by many. That's my point. A subsection of society have taken the term woke and use it as an insult - like you did, when you said it was bigoted.

I didn't claim you did... my point was you seem to do a great job policing my posts but you literally replied positively to a post yesterday where someone said Ali has "the nutters on her side". So if you care so much about people throwing slurs around... at least be consistent. If you're not going to be consistent, please stop telling me how to post.

Yeah, wokeism is def bigoted, and authoritarian. If you actually identify as woke then I assume that you own those things and embrace them so wouldn't consider me saying it an insult. I have full respect for actually liberal lefties though, which I have said here on the forum before. My negative comments have never been about the left in general, I like the rational actually liberal center left and think they have some good ideas.
