Week 1 my thoughts
Fabian & Nastya: great show opener, fantastic jive to a fantastic music choice 7
Christine & Valentin: those Muhammad Ali boxing movements in this quickstep from that queen! iconique, but quickstep wise it was fast and properly danced 6 Ben & Malika: **** OFF Llambi with your ''he danced ahead of the music'' no way this was worth a 1, he tried his best, you can easily see he worked hard this week in training 4 Osan & Christina: not surprised they were eliminated, this was dire, no expression/emotion in his face whatsoever, also dancing by the numbers, it was stiff but in a bad way rather than with the attack required in a tango, the tango argentino part well half danced gancho's, crap 1 Diego & Ekat: Ekat in a SEXY Catsuit  Yes PLS, also Diego has potential, and personality wise i am liking what i see from him, i had expected someone more smug as he is quite privileged etc, nice New Kids on the Block too 6 Marie & Alexandru: jive wise this was a bit on the wooden-ish side for me, but tricks wise this was entertaining, focus more on the basic content too pls is what i would want to see next week 5 Simone & Evgeny: a solidly performed waltz but at the end of the day a waltz is just a waltz, nothing groundbreaking but just decent 6 Roland & Kathrin: UNDERSCORED like massively, the Tony Manero from Bonn, bore off stupid judges :idc: it was a nice idea by Kathrin to get him to bring out his inner Travolta, also quite a nice disco cha cha all in all 6 Paola Maria & Massimo: two italians dancing a waltz to a french classic, WHEW only can happen on this show, cute performance but her nerves kinda got the better of her maybe 4 Sandra & Zsolt: how can this queen dance stunningly the way she does despite not having the posture for this, WOW WOW WOW 8 Marc & Renata: judges pet confirmed officially now for 100% only cuz he is besties with the husband of Heidi Klum, and Heidi's brother in law :skull: 3 Taliso & Patricija: they had immunity so no nerves probably, it was a nice quickstep 8 Jeanette, Leyla both had a free pass into next week, as they both were ill Leyla (Flu) Jeanette (Fever) |
my post week 1 ranking
1. Ben & Malika 2. Diego & Ekaterina 3. Christine & Valentin 4. Sandra & Zsolt 5. Marie & Alexandru 6. Fabian & Anastasia 7. Simone & Evgeny 8. Roland & Kathrin 9. Taliso & Patricija 10. Paola Maria & Massimo 11. Marc & Renata 12. Osan & Christina N/A (haven't danced) Leyla & Sergiu N/A (haven't danced) Jeanette & Vadim wouldn't be fair otherwise if i'd rank these two without performing, but good on RTL being more careful with their stars, if you don't feel well, you need to stay in bed i agree |
Week 2 Disco vs Rock songs and dances
Leyla Lahouar & Sergiu Maruster: Charleston to Alors On Danse by Stromae
Fabian Hambuchen & Anastasia Maruster: Samba to Staying Alive by Bee Gees Jeanette Biedermann & Vadim Garbuzov: Waltz to Misery by P!nk & Steven Tyler Taliso Engel & Patricija Ionel: Rumba to Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astley Selfiesandra & Zsolt Sandor Cseke: Viennese Waltz to Don't Leave Me This Way by Thelma Houston Roland Trettl & Kathrin Menzinger: Tango to TNT by AC/DC Simone Thomalla & Evgeny Vinokurov: Paso Doble to Another One Bites the Dust by Queen San Diego Pooth & Ekaterina Leonova: Viennese Waltz to Bed of Roses by Bon Jovi Paola Maria & Massimo Sinato: Tango to Gasoline by Maneskin Ben Zucker & Malika Dzumaev: Jive to Rebel Yell by Billy Idol Christine Neubauer & Valentin Lusin: Cha Cha Cha to What a Feeling by Irene Cara Marc Eggers & Renata Lusin: Cha Cha Cha to Honey Boy by Purple Disco Machine Marie Mouroum & Alexandru Ionel: Paso Doble to Come Together by The Beatles |
wow, full on bunch of possible epic performances once again
i like Diego's Roland's and Fabian's choices the most but most interesting to hear different more slowed down versions in Taliso's and Sandra's routines Ben with the jive, which he sucked at in the group dance in the launch show :( lets hope Malika can make him improve on the technical content this time around, it is a fun billy idol song choice though Simone big boots to fill, last time a paso to this song, was with Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht (one of my personal fave ever paso dobles on any version of this show worldwide) but i hope she can also do well, i like her |
Week 2 Disco meets Rock my opinions and scores
Christine & Valentin;
thoughts: those flexible leg actions! serving us some angela rippon/debbie mcgee vibes here, also recreating that iconic flashdance scene was brilliantly done by Valentin, amazing cha cha movement throughout as well score: 7 Marie & Alexandru; thoughts: this felt like a scene from a action movie, but still so much basic paso content either, wow score: 7 Taliso & Patricija; thoughts: disagreed with Llambi, ahead of the music and that 1 was so harsh, his rumba hip action was excellent score: 5 Ben & Malika; thoughts: an improvement HALLELUJAH! although those kicks could've gone more cleaner, it looked like a jive anyway, compared to his jive in the launch show score: 6 Marc & Renata; thoughts: it felt too robotic for my liking, not enough latin cha cha hip rotation and also the breakdancing again is unnecessary score: 4 Roland & Kathrin; thoughts: biggest FARCE of the series tbh, undermarked by far, set up for elimination :bawling: i thought his tango content was decent for a novice, also nice rock elements, wrongfully eliminated :bawling: score: 7 Sandra & Zsolt; thoughts: again i am left with my mouth wide open, how does she dance like that, that great, idk what Zsolt has been doing with her in training, but keep up the good work score: 8 Paola Maria & Massimo; thoughts: agree with Llambi, this was danced more by her than last weeks waltz, also this is real life, not the influencer world on social media, we need more from this real Paola, because i am liking what i see score: 6 Leyla & Sergiu; thoughts: fab charleston, to a fab and ultimate iconic stromae banger score: 8 Diego & Ekat; thoughts: first of all, his mom Verona kissing Daniel! before the performance was a literal hoot, secondly about this weeks performance, he did well, potential is there score: 7 Jeanette & Vadim; thoughts: at the end of the day, a waltz is only a waltz, but she did well, so yeah i don't mind the hype by the judges for now score: 7 Fabian & Anastasia; thoughts: those John Travolta moves were executed so well, all in all a great samba score: 9 Simone & Evgeny; thoughts: not bad attempt at a hard dance for a lady, great music, great atmosphere score: 5 |
#RolandwuzRobbed!

Leyla dancing to Layla, super iconic :clap1: :clap1:
|
have a feeling one of the females will go this week (after the first 2 exits having been males)
 i guess Simone or Leyla or Paola do think Christine might get ranked high enough by judges to keep her safe (since she has a standout personality Diego well, last week has been a highlight for the Pooth family  Diego himself doing decently in that viennese waltz, and his mom Verona with kissing Herr Hartwich on the lips, publicity and spotlights on you are everything here in this show! |
Quote:
Leyla was eliminated last friday Paola got a bye into this weeks show, due to having a fever, shame as their jive looked promising in training :( |
Christine Neubauer is a true ICON, debbie mcgee eat your heart out :D
|
Quote:
Simone & Evgeny: 6 Leyla & Sergiu: 4 Marie & Alexandru: 9 Ben & Malika: 7 Fabian & Anastasia: 9 Sandra & Zsolt: 9 Taliso & Patricija: 7 Jeanette & Vadim: 8 Christine & Valentin: 10! totally agreed with Jorge giving her the first 10 of the series  Marc & Renata: 6 San Diego & Ekaterina: 8 |

Week 4 my thoughts and scores
Jeanette & Vadim: that was a fabulous and fun show opener, that Lizzo banger works so well for a charleston! 8
Ben & Malika: :bawling: shame he got eliminated this week, was a decent cha cha cha 6 San Diego & Ekaterina: very very enjoyable quickstep, wonderful choreo yet again too by Ekat, she for sure knows how to sell her celeb partners the right way 9 Simone & Evgeny: Dull, Dull, Dull should've left but i guess the team battle win saved her 4 Paola Maria & Massimo: very sexy, but also quite cute at the same time, was a nice rumba 7 Taliso & Patricija: it was nice, but not very standout, also Patricija is the wrong partner for him, unlike Dianne who did everything right for Chris in strictly, she doesn't do everything right 5 Marc & Renata: MARC YOU HAVE ARRIVED! WOW WOW underscored, this was PERFECTION Charleston No.5 gets a well deserved 11 from me Christine & Valentin: as Len would say YUM YUM Pig's Bum, now that was a rumba of old hollywood levels, also great choreography/setting with the diner 9 Sandra & Zsolt: criminally undermarked, no way was this a 4, fatshaming too from Llambi somehow  this was fast, light footed and certainly not heavy this was a enjoyable performance too 9 Marie & Alexandra: Magalenha is the perfect samba song and yet again this has been proven, wow stunning routine 10 Fabian & Anastasia: for me personally not as great as Marc's charleston, unlike what juries said, but it was still quite good 9 the team dance battle i preferred Team Flamingo as i thought in team Pineapple, Paola Maria was not in sync with the rest of her teammates in Flamingo i thought even Ben did give it a good go to try and remain in sync with the rest all in all, a enjoyable show  |
Week 5 songs and dances
Marc Eggers & Renata Lusin: Contemporary to Beautiful Things by Benson Boone
Taliso Engel & Patricija Ionel: Jive to Splish Splash by Bobby Darin Jeanette Biedermann & Vadim Garbuzov: Tango to Can't get you out of my head by Kylie Minogue Selfiesandra & Zsolt Sandor Cseke: Contemporary to All I Ask by Adele Fabian Hambuchen & Anastasia Maruster: Paso Doble to Gallito by Santiago Lope Gonzalo Marie Mouroum & Alexandru Ionel: Charleston to Rock It For Me by Caravan Palace San Diego Pooth & Ekaterina Leonova: Rumba to I Swear by All 4 One Christine Neubauer & Valentin Lusin: Contemporary to Send in the Clowns by A Little Night Music Paola Maria & Massimo Sinato: Paso Doble to Plaza of Execution from Zorro Simone Thomalla & Evgeny Vinokurov: Foxtrot to Born to be Wild by Steppenwolf |
fab music choice for Diego & Ekat  i love that tune
traditional paso's :flutter: 3 contemporary's YASSSS and Marie dancing to that tune what Sophie Ellis-Bextor did great at for her charleston :D |
Week 5 my thoughts and scores
Marie & Alexandru: divine and great fun charleston, i was blown away! wow 10
Christine & Valentin: i was absolutely in tears of this lovely contemporary, great theme as two clowns, also very refreshing either to see a contemporary not being danced barefoot, this was GORGEOUS 11 Jeanette & Vadim: the futuristic robot concept was a good idea, but poorly executed i thought, it wasn't everywhere as staccato as it needed to be, but not the worst of the evening 6 Paola Maria & Massimo: knew they would be eliminated, also slightly overmarked for my liking, this was very mediocre 3 Taliso & Patricija: massively overmarked if i'm honest, okay that he can't see much, but zero chemistry between these two, that kiss too was so cringe and too forced for my liking, it took too long before they got going with the actual jive, flatfooted in places 1 Simone & Evgeny: not surprised she was the bottom two with the public, this was a quite forgettable foxtrot, not bad and happy she made it through one more week but still very forgettable 5 San Diego & Ekaterina: quite undermarked, as the basic rumba content technically was danced quite well, but judges have an obsession with dancing sexy and raunchiness for some reason, i respect Diego for not dancing it too sexy, with another woman in front of his girlfriend and his mother in the audience, i was feeling worried for a slight moment since he was bottom of the leaderboard but am happy he survived 7 Fabian & Anastasia: his weakest dance to date, i am angry at those judges labelling him as a contender few weeks ago, the pressure really got to him here, everything was too pedestrian, even for a paso doble, also the spanish lines weren't extended entirely 5 Sandra & Zsolt: how can Llambi say that she needs to be lifted, does Llambi want Zsolt to end up with a back injury, you don't necessarily need to do lifts though, lifts are like pyros, just a bit of fastfood content for the show act decoration, i thought it was danced nicely, doing enough to survive i guess 7 Marc & Renata: there was a lack of chemistry in this contemporary for me personally, also a mismatch with the story they were telling and Marc, i mean as if Marc struggles with insecurity, if he is besties with Tokio Hotel band members one of whom is the husband of Heidi Klum, then u ain't insecure if you are that popular, everything was also danced with too much posing going on towards the audience rather than seeing them dance together towards each other 3 next week Top 9, individual routines + a first time Jury Challenge, whom make groups of 3, select music and then the 3 couples of them can create a choreography and whichever dance style they want to include depending on what music they got |
i mean i could easily dance so sexy with Ekat, maybe a bit on the cringe side from my behalf but still
i however just understand why this wasn't going to be Diego's dance from the start, if he is only recently in a relationship with his current girlfriend i'd also love every second of rehearsing with the GENERAL |
Week 6 songs and dances (regular + groups)
Marc Eggers & Renata Lusin: Foxtrot to The Way You Make Me Feel by Paul Anka
Taliso Engel & Patricija Ionel: Contemporary to Arcade by Duncan Laurence Jeanette Biedermann & Vadim Garbuzov: Jive to Dear Future Husband by Meghan Trainor Selfiesandra & Zsolt Sandor Cseke: Samba to Hips Don't Lie by Shakira Fabian Hambuchen & Anastasia Maruster: Waltz to You Give Love a Bad Name by Bon Jovi Marie Mouroum & Alexandru Ionel: Waltz to My Heart Cries For You by Brenna Whitaker San Diego Pooth & Ekaterina Leonova: Contemporary to Sign Of the Times by Harry Styles Christine Neubauer & Valentin Lusin: Waltz to Ich Bin von Kopf bis Fuss auf Liebe eingestellt by Marlene Dietrich Simone Thomalla & Evgeny Vinokurov: Tango to Olé Guapa by Danny Malando ---- Group music: a medley of Let's Get Loud by Jennifer Lopez, Come Dance with Me by Frank Sinatra, Big Spender by Shirley Bassey Group 1: Jeanette & Vadim, Marc & Renata, Sandra & Zsolt Group 2: Fabian & Anastasia, Diego & Ekaterina, Simone & Evgeny Group 3: Christine & Valentin, Marie & Alexandru, Taliso & Patricija |
the perfect dance for Diego to bounce back after the criticism he received for his rumba last week i think
not sure about Sandra and Samba, just hope Llambi won't say anything stupid like last week :worry: and Simone and Tango, hmmm not sure either especially with traditional music, oh oh |
alright recapping last night
#Marcwuzrobbed, Simone is literally the cat with 9 lives it seems, how on earth does she keep staying in  Diego has a fanbase that has been proven these last 2 weeks now, and again so undermarked, his contemporary i preferred to Taliso's (also Taliso from crappy weeks to suddenly high praise and 10s like why? i also didn't get why he had to wear a blindfold if he is blind) Diego has a hard time expressing his emotions, so he for sure did well last night with a dance which main ingredient is emotion, he and Ekat worked hard :clap1: Jeanette was too much faffing about in that Jive, and the jive content we did see was mediocre yes  was a good choreo though by Vadim Christine was a bit dull this week :( Sandra Samba looked good fun, although that colour pink is not my cup of tea at all Marie & Alexandru their waltz was on another level, that beautiful story they told |
Week 7 Iconic Performances in Lets Dance History
Taliso & Patricija: Tango to Imsomnia by Faithless (previously danced by Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht & Renata Lusin in Series 11)
Jeanette & Vadim: Quickstep to Bei Mir Bist Du Schon by Andrews Sisters (previously danced by Maite Kelly & Christian Polanc in Series 4) Sandra & Zsolt: Charleston to Du Hast den Farbfilm Vergessen by Nina Hagen (previously danced by Nicolas Puschmann & Vadim Garbuzov in Series 14) Christine & Valentin: Paso Doble to Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen (previously danced by Oliver Pocher & Christina Luft (now Hanni) in Series 12) Fabian & Anastasia: Quickstep to It Don't Mean a Thing by Duke Ellington (previously danced by Rene Casselly & Kathrin Menzinger in Series 15) Marie & Alexandru: Cha Cha Cha to Don't be so Shy by Imany (previously danced by Vanessa Mai & Christian Polanc in Series 10) San Diego & Ekaterina: Charleston to The Ding Dong Daddy of the D-Car Line by Cherry Poppin Daddies (previously danced by Rurik Gislason & Renata Lusin in Series 14) Simone & Evgeny: Rumba to Fields of Gold by Sting (previously danced by her daughter Sophia Thomalla & Massimo Sinato in Series 3) and a Discofox Marathon, consisting out of the best schlager party hits what the german public voted for the whole week which songs to feature in this years discofox edition |
nawt Fabian getting stitched up by giving him a routine by one of this shows best champions :skull:
no one can dance better than Rene Casselly honestly Diego getting a routine by Rurik, i am happy with, Rurik same as Diego also had been a novice in his series and how on earth does Christine needs to dance better than a actual pro dancer Christina for her parts :umm2: also Sandra stitched up with one of Nico & Vadim their most iconic routines in their whole iconic journey as their first same-sex partnership |
Iconic Dances week my thoughts
first of all
HOW ON EARTH does Simone keep staying in, the Cat with 9 Lives seriously :fan: Poor Christine :( Christine & Valentin: i had been a fan of Oli Pocher & Christina that series yes, i do have to respect Christine's efforts in the parts which had been originally done by the professional, now by a celebrity, which looked decent enough in my opinion Simone & Evgeny: more emotion factor than anything else with this rumba i guess, on her 60th BIRTHDAY doing one of her daughters dances with her daughter also in the audience, while it was vice versa all those years ago, with Simone back then in the audience for Sophia & Massimo, but dance wise again very meh Fabian & Anastasia: first Perfect 30 of the series! wow, he danced it even better than René did, including those tricks, also nice seeing Fabi's dad Wolfgang in the training VT, whom also had been his coach in his career, nice to know Nastia's father is also a gymnastics coach  love how Nastia said after the performance ''damn your incredibly difficult choreo's, Menzinger'' Jeanette & Vadim: also a quickstep, and even more pressure performing directly after a perfect score routine, was well danced i thought Sandra & Zsolt: second Perfect 30 of the series! that nina hagen music choice remains super ICONIC especially combined with that charleston, YAS  Marie & Alexandru: not her best, not her worst either, the cha cha cha is a crap dance anyway, with all those strange straight leg actions, i thought she did well Diego & Ekat: screw you Llambi ahead of the music, rather ahead of the music in a charleston than behind the music in my opinion, there was loads of strong and fast swivel content, backward and forward swivels, lots of great acting work done for a non-actor, and such great chemistry either, love these two  Taliso & Patricija: doesn't even come close to Jimi Blue  and once again overmarked, it lacked any form of passion, commitment to the performance's story, it was danced by numbers throughout you could see him counting, i also thought even for a tango, it was too stiff in the wrong way for my liking, you need more stiffness with attack, rather than just dancing like a broom the discofox marathon, Jeanette & Vadim won 10 points, Fabian & Anastasia 8 points, Christine & Valentin 6 points, Sandra & Zsolt 5 points, Diego & Ekat 4 points, Marie & Alexandru 3 points, Taliso & Patricija 2 points, Simone & Evgeny 1 point next week no live show due to the easter break, but the week after easter, there'll be the infamous Partner Switch Up week, and they said there was no elimination happening then, but possibly the bonus point to be won, i mean that was the case in last years and the year before's partner switch up  |
