It's the way he said it.

That's why ITV FIRED him.

I was referring to his naked cooking Arista....we don't yet know what he has been saying or doing off camera.

He spent two years in prison for burglary of singer Paul Youngs house, so not the nice flirty guy he comes across as. He's 48, moved to the UK when he was 19 so, for those doing the maths, he's spent 29 years in the UK but still talks like Cpt Bertorelli from Allo Allo. That pantomime Italian accent is as false as he is. He wont be missed

So no one can rehabilitate if they make a mistake in their teens? bit harsh

The women involved need to grow up and take responsibility for themselves and call out any behaviour they dont agree with, crying about it years later is not a good look

arista 09-02-2025 12:39 AM

[While recent reports state that ITV have pulled his
shows from the schedules,
the source added that Gino has vowed
to 'never work with ITV again'.

Gino is also set to 'jet to the USA
later next week to work on a TV project'.

Above from DM.

Off to America
to a New Contract.

…I think what’s stuck with seems to be the main and significant difference with this and much other alleged in appropriate behaviour/misconduct…is that the incidents were witnessed by others, they weren’t something which happened when it would be a ‘their word against the other word’…reading through the whole article, there were a few comments that were particularly grim and not what anyone/any female should have said to them…people should be able to go to work and go about their jobs without that…but those/all comments should be straight forward to confirm through the witnesses…I don’t know why not one single person spoke out if these things prove to be how the behaviour was…

bots 09-02-2025 11:30 AM

i think it's simply the case that this type of behaviour was normal 20 years ago. People didn't particularly like it happening but didn't say anything against it. Behaviour at work is relatively a very recent thing

…I don’t agree, I think from a female perspective I’ve experienced ‘normal’ behaviour practise in a working environment many and most times and none of it resembles anything even similar to what some of the claims are that have been said…there are a few times when I haven’t experienced that but thankfully very few in comparison because it absolutely isn’t ‘normal’ appropriate behaviour and we recognise ‘normal’, which is something that doesn’t ever make us feel uncomfortable or intrusive or inappropriate in any way…I think that what has changed over time, thankfully…is the ‘conditioning’ to accept some inappropriate behaviour as ‘normal’….

Ammi 09-02-2025 11:51 AM

…anyways, my thoughts on this with Gino D’Acampo is that nothing was ‘hidden’ in any way from what the investigation is saying…all the alleged incidents were in ‘plain sight’ and in full view of other colleagues so all should be easier to assess, if that hasn’t already been done…

I'll take what Kim says with a massive dose of salt , this is the same woman who got touchy feely with Dr Christian and strandled him without his consent!!!, it was all supposed to be a ' laugh ' ...but it was cringe and uncomfortable to see.

The bloke is gay ,so not sure if she thought that was a green pass ? ... or whether she was just being her usual panto theatric self .

Years ago we saw Gino D'Acampo’s bare bottom on
@thismorning
Gino cooks bistecca di pancetta naked to celebrate This Morning's win at the
National Television Awards, this was in 2011. I didn’t see any complaints from
women then, yet they come forward now????

Yeah
They basically encouraged him to be a sex pest / womaniser ,now all of a sudden he's a ' creep' . Celebrity juice encouraged his innuendos & flirtation aswell.

I'm not even a fan of Gino , he's annoying and full of it . But you can't make a bloke go full stalk naked on a morning show FFS !! ... like how was that even
appropriate?, even as some funny dare ? . To now say he was harassing people, it is a big fat joke and ITV doesn't have a leg to stand on ... quite frankly .

I think I'll join itv , as a woman I can make a million innuendos and sex jokes and never face repercussions it seems.

Itv is a massive contradiction, they made Gino strip naked on live morning TV for a ' laugh' . They're all hypocrites... it's a big joke.

It waters down actual serious harassment & abuse, obviously if Gino has done anything wrong then he should be held accountable.

But they basically encouraged his smutty humour & Flirtation...now all of a sudden he's " gone too far ". Female celebrities & presenters have made their male counterparts uncomfortable...but it goes ignored or laughed off . There's no consistency .

I don't even like Gino either. But they gave the guy the family fortunes gig , he's on so many TV shows.

I'm waiting for Stephen Mulhern to fall from grace next , there's a pattern developing.

He's always seemed a bit odd to me, as if he's hiding a big secret.

I agree, he's probably 'next on the list'.

Lorraine should be investigated at this rate, she is always slobbering over wee men and I saw a pic recently of her peeking up Ben Shepherd kilt....

I wasn't trying to pinpoint suspicion on him,I actually don't mind Stephen. But it makes me wonder...if he'll suddenly find himself in ' hot water', as he's doing so well with a few gigs .. he's a popular name and so on. It's the whole thing of bringing someone down.

Suddenly it could take 1 or 2 'complaints' or ' allegations ' ,and then ITV will do what they do best and cancel & axe
him. Then they'll be talking about replacing him... like he's just another number or even stop showing his programs. They go into full throttle knee jerk reaction... rather than thinking first & investing what has actually happened.

These big TV cooperations are so scared of wrecking their reputation, that they actually embarrass themselves, and it's an insult to the whole situation .
