the black box also records many of the planes systems status's, i'm sure they will identify the cause pretty quickly on this one

Some reports are that he was sat with his brother, which is pretty heartbreaking and I saw another video of two young guys who were returning from a magical holiday in India, they filmed themselves in the departure lounge...life is pretty fragile
Confirmed by a family member the survivors brother was sitting next to him but they have no word of him, I guess he is gone, I hope we don't hear they swapped seats as families generally do when travelling together |

Just seen a report from someone who landed on the doomed flight just hours before who said the aircon and TVs were not working he took a video of people fanning themselves with inflight mags to send to Air India

if you look at the picture, the survivor was positioned at the 2nd door, just forward of the wing that contained all the fuel that exploded

[A British father has miraculously survived
the Air India plane disaster believed to have claimed the lives of hundreds of people in India. Vishwash Kumar Ramesh, 40, spoke from the safety of a hospital bed after escaping from the fallen Gatwick-bound Flight 171 this morning.] The passenger, who was in seat 11A when the plane came down in a residential area of Gujarat, recalled: 'Thirty seconds after take-off, there was a loud noise and then the plane crashed. It all happened so quickly.' |
