An American owned team, against an American team, and the stadium only about 25% full at best. Although 3pm on a Monday probably isn't the best time for a lot of people.

I was hoping Chelsea would start with Delap but he’s shown loyalty to Jackson



I would have started Delap and that would put a bomb under Jackson to get his a*se in gear

i heard fifa were going round local colleges and offering buy 1 ticket and get 4 free, so it's probably a lot worse than that in reality :laugh:

Yeah in all honestly they probably couldn't give most tickets away. The bulk of the the US will never give a sh!t about "soccer"

That’s what they apparently don’t with a lot if the women’s games … charge a fiver on the night and thousands given free to schools

I guess it depends on the State and City a bit too, Atlanta, Georgia is a city and state i expect really do give no fcuks whatsoever about actual football.

the other thing is that ICE have said they will be targeting the games, and the people most likely to go to the football are probably immigrants :laugh:

Nope so

Great 25 minutes from Delap !

Good assist , great in the build up play and a good assist.

my observations so far is that the games seem to have zero atmosphere

Yeah, and even though Palmer was off today, he linked up well with Delap.

This next game is gonna change all that, 40 mins before kick off and already the best atmosphere of the tournament so far

If did look ridiculous.

Boca Jrs vs Benfica has so much potential here, completely different atmosphere, and actually a lot more people in the stadium

This game is already better than the Chelsea game
