I watched BB3 as I was reporting on the show for a radio station, magazine and web site - and I hated Jade from the start - I haven’t really ever said this but personally I think she is responsible for lowering the tone of the show and was fake from the outset... plus they all knew the game and wanted something from it .. in the first 2 series we had NO IDEA..
From then on I am afraid it got worse, of course I was intrigued to see who was going in, but year after year the producers seem to want either freaks or controversy and Jade finished off where she began and I really hope she now "works it out" and disappears as no one likes her or is interested anymore.
As for this year.. didnt really watch a lot... having said that my girlfriend is obsessed with the show.. but Brian was a real BB fan and apparently has watched all the series and has them on DVD ..lol so good on him.
sorry long answer for a short question..lol

Nice of you to drop by Stu and hope things are going well for you.
I agree with you about Jade and don't blame you for avoiding her. She plays a pseudo-thicko but is smarter than she makes out. It's a shame producers brought her back for CBB. God knows what they were thinking. The Jade/Shilpa fiasco has sadly cast a shadow over the show and that's why I've avoided this series. I am also fed up with these talent-vacuums and celeb-wannabes going into BB just to get their clothes off for Nuts mag when they leave and so-called fans of the show booting out the best house mates every series.
I never watched a lot of BB 3 as I was still pining for BB 2. Besides I didn't like the new house. I ate and slept BB 2 throughout its duration. There is just something very special about that series. You were all brilliant house mates being yourselves and Brian was a deserving winner, unlike the rest who followed him. Then there was the Helen and Paul romance which was the icing on the cake. I also loved the brilliant analysis from the psychologists Geoffrey Beattie and the other chap who described you as "the biggest winker in the house" (classic line you have to admit Stu!). For any BB fan who missed this series I strongly suggest you buy the video or DVD and take a look for yourselves. It is and always will be the greatest BB series of all.
As BB 3 came across loud and boorish, I think the producers tried to recreate the success of BB 2 with BB 4 but unfortunately they picked the wrong people and it become "BB Snore". The few interesting HMs like Anouska, who in my opinion would have been a great housemate, was booted out after 2 weeks, and the loss of Jon Tickle was the end for me. Ever since BB 4 the producers have gone for controversy and got in freaks to avoid it becoming dull. Sometimes the format has worked but the charm, as we had for BB 1 and 2, is not there.
Anyway I am very excited at the prospect of a reunion of BB 2 with the original house mates. I really hope this will be the sunshine and blue sky to disperse the black clouds surounding the programme caused by the odious Goody family.
