Yeah, every forum needs stroppy-ness.

It does get a bit tiresome when people come back a few days after they've gone, it's best to just keep your mouth shut and go away and then start posting again if you wish to.

I made a 'I'm leaving' thread once but that was at the time everyone was doing it so I was jumping on the bandwagon :whistle:
I must say the constant goodbye threads annoy me as whenever they are posted the member returns in less than 48 hours.

I've changed my mind i'm staying does get annoying, i think there should be a goodbye thread and a welcome back thread, so its all in one place.

I agree that would be the best way to keep it under control and it means not everyone has to read it

I think people just make them to get some attention. The best thing to do would be to change their personal status to 'Having a break' or something along those lines.
