Cant forget, most of the best quotes comes from BB7 and funny comedy moments.
What from princess cow Nikki?
Not just Nikki, Richard as well, *******yne also had this know yourself line, and many more, which I'm to tired too list them.
Both "Who is she?" and "I'm cooking an egg" were in The Radio Times' Top 10 BB Poll of favourite moments.

Don't think anything from BB5 was in the top 10.
Oh of course, even BB7 quote was played in the other side of continant in Sydney radio station Australia.

Sorry theres 2 from BB5. But "Who is he?" gets higher than one and "I'm cooking an egg" higher than the other.
Looks like Who is she was voted the best quote, the other two in front the quote were moments than quote.

If you added up the percentages I think BB5 just tops the figure for BB7 and BB3 wins hands down.

Here is the calculation

Big Brother 3 (3 entries)
12.79 + 9.2 + 1.12 = 23.11

Big Brother 5 (4 entries)
7.13 + 4.02 + 3.55 + 1.99 = 16.69

Big Brother 7 (3 entries)
10.08 + 4.82 + 1.59 = 16.53

BB5 only had one HM on best HMs and Pete and Nikki was higher on best couple. Then there was also the Mikey and Grace, 3 Hms from BB7 and 4 BB5 moments to 3 BB7 moments. Hmmm . . . I think BB7 wins that!

BB7 always does well in general public voting, the heatworld poll just two weeks ago, had Glyn the most popular HM ever, second in the list was Nikki then it was Brian Dowling. Harris Interactive poll had Nikki as the most Entertaining HM ever, in all those general public poll, BB7 does better than BB5.

Another good reason not to trust the poll, it was a disaster of a relationship.

Pete dumped her because she was too high-maintenance and he was fed up with her jealous tantrums. Best thing Pete ever did. Can you imagine having her as a wife?

I agree with you in this one, I myself hated Pete and Nikki as a couple, and thak god he dumped her, even though it wasn't Nikki's fault, but just didn't connect with Pete and Nikki as a couple, Guy and Nikki looked better as a couple. The couple I voted for was Mikey and Imogen, I voted in that poll.

BB7 is a more recent series so those housemates are more likely to be remembered, despite being as dull as dishwater. Plus, new fans watch the show every year and a lot of the voters may not have seen the older series of the show and so only voted for housemates from the series they did see.

It had another housemate, called Michelle Bass and she finished in 14th position, although I would put Grace ahead of her.

Oh yes! Glyn is the most popular HM ever on heat!

Heat is almost as read as the Radio Times, but I think heat readers are more dedicated BB fans. But whatever atleast I know Glyn is really popular.

Face it people who say this poll isn't reliable- its all sour grapes! :dance2:

I'm with on this one, and those who say BB8 is better than BB7, the poll doesn't say it, and shows superiority to BB5.

I know. They just can't face the facts so they hide it with lies and bad excuses!

From youtube and heat and the ratings, I get the feeling that it goes BB3/ BB7 (there pretty close in populartity but I think it sides with BB3) then BB5! :dance2:

The same thing happens on here when you do polls. A lot of the older members don't post anymore and have left the site. Those that were here during and before BB5 are few in number now. We still have a lot of members that joined during BB6 and even more that joined during BB7. The other thing that has changed on the site is the age range of users. We use to have a lot of older users that saw the early shows but now most of our users first experiences of Big Brother are from Big Brother 6 and 7 onwards. It affects the results of polls.

Another interesting factor to tie in with this is people will tend to remember more recent events than those of the past. That is just the way the brian works. Older memories get buried by new memories.

That's interesting. Dermot O' Leary works at Heat doesn't he? And he was the one constantly bigging Glyn up and raving on about him in his ever so biased manner on BBLB. I'd be willing to bet money that Glyn is Heat's most popular HM on Heat because of Dermot. Brian Belo will probably be second next year.

I don't think the poll is reliable, but this thread isn't about the radio times poll, it about which of the three shows was better and we have been side tracked.

According to the votes so far Big Brother 5 is winning with 8 votes, Big Brother 7 is second with 7 and Big Brother 3 has 1 vote.

But Heat is the gutter celebrity press, it's just like the Daily Star but worse and OK magazine is not much better.

Its a poll! God, you just can't handle things not going your way can you?

Dermot was never biased about Brian. And I didn't watch BB7 BBLB but he probably wasn't with Glyn either.

I hate Brian aswell. People need to face the facts that their opinion isn't always everyone elses!

My god!

16 votes to the 1000s that vote in the heat and radio times poll. I wonder whats more accurate?

Who has the more readers?

2,500 people voted on the radiotimes poll which I would guess is about 1% or lower of the readership. Even if we have had 160 users on tonight, which there hasn't been, 16 votes would be 10% of the readership.

Our poll has greater coverage of the readership!

Whatever you just said is wrong. Considering RadioTimes is the 3rd most read magazine in Britain (fact!) I suspect their going to have alot more readers/ members and a lot more accuracy. Same goes for heatworld.

Fine I like facts

So 2,500 is a lot less than 1% then..... so that adds to my argument.

And of course the people on here are fans and we know what we are talking about.

Wasted 27-09-2007 10:38 PM

The ratings are probably the best, most reliable source to look at if you want to know which series really was the most popular. BB3 had the highest ratings of any series, so that would be the most popular if you really want to look at facts. BB5 is second, and BB7 is third, if I remember rightly. So that would be the order of popularity if you wanted to go on facts and figures alone.

Red Moon 27-09-2007 11:13 PM

And here is one of the reasons the ratings were so high

And there is more... including the fake eviction, fight night.... the list is endless.

Big Brother going evil was a master stroke of fun for the viewers.
