Yes but you've got to admit we get it easy at school compared to having to do a full time job.
You don't get paid for going to school...

Oh well, but school will give us the opportunity to get a good job and earn lots of money. We'd all be working as bin men/women if there wasn't any school or other low paid work.

School and homework is horrible and I never liked school one bit. It is something that we all have to do and homework and exams are part of that routine. But despite all that, we all have to learn how to read and write and do sums and stuff, learning about our world and our past plus religious studies and physical education, it all helps us in life to some extent. But if someone wants to have a moan about school then why not, I certainly did and I wasn't alone.

I do, but that's because of the EMA.

A lot of people doing average jobs, have been at work a little while by that time...
And usually been driving a decent distance to get there in the first place.

Even the average office job can usually start at 8:20am nowadays, as opposed to the standard 9am-5pm.

Some people also do twelve hour night shifts, lets say 8pm - 8am...they've been at work for 11hrs 30mins by the time you get out of bed lol.

No matter what job you get, the chances are you'll be getting up earlier, spending much longer there, doing lots more work, with a lower amount of friends [or not at all if you're unlucky with the people you're working with.] and 50 years of it to look forward to.

As oppose to five easy years at school.
It's not going to get any easier..infact, homework is ridiculously easy and stress free compaired to what might be ahead.

Granted, work = money...
Doesn't stop it being long/more stressful. Not to mention no homework = detention, no work done = sacked. Lots more pressure to perform.

Im not trying to lecture, just point out that you should be grateful for a relatively easy school life right now, and make the most of it. Instead of thinking it's awful.

Because life will get MUCH harder.

so sunshine 30 how did you meet youre girlfriend
I've met her at school. She was in my class, we did fancy each other and when we have been in England for a trip with all the class, we felt in love and we will celebrate our 1st year together the 12th of november. Thanks England !

You know, it's possible to meet some great people at school, it's fun to socialize with them, don't be scared by this Flav.

Sometimes I do complain and find things difficult, but at the end of the day without school you haven't got a foundation for your future. So it's important to pull through if you have a goal in mind. Obviously I don't always stick to things and have a hard time, but then I see my parents and your average people with a job, and realise how much more they have to do. As well as managing a household and everything else. Yet they still do it- it's doable!

So enjoy school while you're there, is what I say. I'm in my last year of college now, and then that's the end of that part for me. The last few months will be stressful, maybe, but then once it's done it's done.

Flavaflav, I totally agree with this topic. In my opinon the only good thing about school is the road out of it! (and playing football at lunch and break). Our school has so much pointless rules, and we're not even 1 of those posh castle schools. It's an intermediate. Oh, I hat school! And the worst part, I still have 3 -5 years to go yet!!
