I totally understand where your coming from Shaun, and when knives and weapons become involved it turns serious, but what I'm trying to say here is that some people are blatantly disliking her just because of her personal life, and that to me is unfair.

That's ridiculous, of course we're allowed to dislike her because of her personal life. People seem to dislike Rhydian for his confidence, which is something personal that is not his singing, so are you saying that that too is unacceptable?
|
Well for me, I don't like that. I think she should be judged on her singing voice, not what she does in her own time. And this thread's about Emily, not Rhydian.

But the attitude is applicable to Rhydian; you're claiming that one form of this "people making opinions not based on voice" thing is unacceptable, yet apparently condoning another.
And her singing voice is awful anyway, which most people have already judged her on in such a way.
And she's not just a chav; I have friends who are chavs and nice people. She's in an actual London gang and brandishes a knife. That's a valid enough reason to dislike someone, I think.
