Whats a proper send off thread going to do? He's gone and not coming back. It's best if we email him our goodbyes so he can... y'know... actually read them.

I was refering to Stu's last post. He said he tried twice to give himself a farewell thread, but they got locked and deleted. I'm just saying I don't think that's fair seeing as he's a well respected member. And not everyone has his email, and I'm sure he could still read the replies in the thread, you don't have to be a member to read the forum "y'know".

True. I was looking through the forum for about 3 weeks before I registered.

So he's leaving but coming back as a non-member. Hmm, pointless task if he is. Why leave if you're going to be there.

What I'm saying is he could come back to read the comments made in his farewell thread. I'm sure most ex-members (banned or left through free will read the forum time to time).
