On another note, this week the task is Collective farm. The HMs work for the collective. They receive the same ratios of food regardless who has worked the hardest. However, there's also a leader in the collective. This leader was appointed by BB. The appointed leader is Johan. He lives upstairs.

At the moment they are picking eggs. Every broken egg will affect to their budget. The eggs will be sent through a pipe at random intervals. And at any time of the day.

The house has been covered with brown paper. And there's a rather primitive toilet outside. The HMs can't use neither the toilet or shower inside.

antos 15-10-2008 04:19 PM

The egg-production has been in fact the primary goal. Today Anna received a secret mission...she'll have to sabotage the task as much as she can without getting caught. If she's succesfull, she will receive a reward.

Also, one of the goals in this task has been to get 3 working hero-titles. I'm not quite sure, if this means 3 for one HM. Or if it doesn't matter, if the 3 stars are given to individual HMs.

I'm not sure, if I already mentioned this: this year the HMs had to have valid passports. Also, the production have promised a more international season as ever. At this point I'd be willing to bet, that there's going to be a HM-swap. The most likely house would be in Spain. We have one HM, who has lived in Spain for 8 months. Possibly a native Spanish-speaker entering the house soon (just a rumour).

Jari-Matti, Marianne, Tero and Tuuli are up for eviction this week. As the new HMs Anna and Kaisa-Reeta couldn't be named. Also, Johan had immunity as the leader of the weekly task.

antos 17-10-2008 06:45 PM

It's been confirmed. We'll have a swap. It's unclear with which country. The popular consensus between the fans seems to be Bulgaria, Croatia, Israel or Spain. Remains to be seen. My guess is Croatia or Spain.

There has been some hints for some time now. The hints are: raven, coconut and a red dot.

Another hint might be our theme for this year. Astrology. And the fact, that Johan was selected as the leader at the beginning of the weekly task. Thus giving him immunity to this week's nominations. Johan has in the past lived in Spain for 8 months.

To get back to the astrology theme. Madrid's coat of arms includes stars that symbolise the constellation of the bear.

I don't know...at the moment it seems like we'll swap HMs with Spain. Then again, anything is possible.

antos 18-10-2008 12:43 PM

Johan left to a house in another country. I still have no news, where he's gone to. Unless anyone here can tell, in which countries there are a strong possibility of a swap, we'll find out tomorrow. I can tell, that the church is somehow involved. More precisely the department, that takes care of the help worldwide where needed.

Having said that, the most likely candidates are Africa and Croatia. Africa I don't really need to explain. Croatia, because their house is in Thailand. The tsunami took a lot of Finnish people too. And generally they might still need some help.

antos 18-10-2008 01:58 PM

More speculation. It seems, that Johan is on his way to Africa. And Munya from the Africa house is on his way to our house in exchange. :cheer2:

I still don't have the time to translate and subtitle. But for the week that Munya spends in our house, I'll upload the episodes as is. Meaning, that they will be unpacked. Which means big files. It's safe to say, that for the next week the daily shows will focus on our guest. And the language used will be mostly English.

Here's some conversation on a Finnish forum in English:

antos 19-10-2008 08:36 PM

Now the speculations are a reality. Johan is in South Africa, and Munya is in our house. Munya is like a breath of fresh air. Johan will enter the BBA house tomorrow. Or actually he's already there, but he haven't been introduced to the BBA HMs yet. No doubt he'll be a breath of fresh air for them.

The HM swap between BB Finland and BB Africa has proven to be a very good one. Johan is enjoying his life in the BBA house, and the BBA HMs are also enjoying Johan. It's the same here, Munya is enjoying his life in the BB Finland house and our HMs are enjoying him. More importantly, the fans in both Africa and Finland have been interacting on forums based in both South-Africa and Finland. This is one of the reasons at the moment, why my updates here are scarce. Just bare with me. I know, I've let some of you down. I also know, there's only a few forumites here, who could care less about BB Finland.

Also, there might be a further twist to this HM-swap. Today our HMs had nominations. Munya also was asked to the DR to nominate the Finnish BB HMs. I have no idea, if this twist is real. I'll have more news tomorrow.

antos 24-10-2008 12:39 PM

Munya left the BB Finland house an hour ago. Johan apparently is still in the BBA house.

Cheryll and Kaisa-Reeta are up for eviction this week. And yes, Munya's nomination counted. We might actually have Munya to thank for getting rid of Kaisa-Reeta. She doesn't really have anything to give to the house.

It seems, that with this swap either Cheryll or Johan will win. Munya got kinda close with Cheryll, and on his last night in the house he got to go upstairs with the HM of his choice. He chose Cheryll. They had a lengthy and deep conversation before kissing goodnight. He brought a new side out of Cheryll.

Johan on the other hand has been given quite a bit already. By winning the poker tournament they had in the house he's already won 5000 euros in terms of money. Also he's been immune in the nominations for 2 weeks in the row. Whether he'll win or not will be completely up to how he can use his experience in this swap for his advantage. If he can't, Cheryll will be the winner.

No problem. Just doing what I can. :)

If anyone's interested to see some bits of this exchange, search for BB Munya and BB Johan on YouTube.

Kaisa-Reeta was evicted yesterday.

The HMs have been nominating each other as usually on Mondays. It might be counted as a twist that they couldn't nominate Johan, they must be thinking Johan got immunity again for the 3rd week in a row. In reality the HMs couldn't nominate him, because he will be automatically up for eviction.

antos 07-11-2008 06:24 PM

A quick recap and update:

So...Johan was nominated by Big Brother. This wasn't the only twist related to the HM swap. Upon his return, Johan got pretty much everything the other HMs could only dream of. And then BB turned the table...Johan spent 8 hours cleaning up the walls and mirrors outside by himself. Over and over again. He survived the eviction. Jari-Matti was evicted last week.

This week 3 new HMs entered. 2 guys on Tuesday and a girl yesterday. The girl is one of those kiss&tell-girls. Apparently she's slept with footballer Mikael Forssell.

Not much going on really, so not much to update.

Anyway, here are the new HMs:

Alex, 19, in a relationship or maybe single (unclear)

Jarmo, 21, single and father of a 1,5 year old son

Henna, 19, single

Alex's father is Spanish, btw.

Alex is cuuuute.

The unthinkable happened tonight. Cheryll was a forerunner throuhgout the season. Until now. She was evicted. It was kind of a shock. Good for the game though, as now it's all open. Can't really predict, who will win.

With Cheryll gone, we now have only 2 HMs who entered on day 1. One of the new HMs might win. I'd put my money on Anniina.

antos 17-11-2008 05:15 PM

Yesteday a highly predicted eviction of Henna.

Today the HMs nominated for the last time this season. As the first one, the nominations were fake. BB had already placed all of the remaining 7 HMs up for eviction. This is also the foundation for the weekly task.

During the weekly task BB will show real-time updates of how the voting is going on. They will be shown randomly at any time of the day on the TV-screen.

Also during the task, the HMs will have various individual tasks. The best of each task will be rewarded somehow.

I guess this is somehow connected to this year's theme "Who you really are?"...should be interesting to see how each HM will react to the updates.

On top of that, it's going to be a triple-eviction.

antos 18-11-2008 02:00 PM

Additional information of the weekly task:

The HMs will only see the order in which they would be evicted. Also, BB added a twist which they didn't tell about beforehand. Every now and then the HMs will be shown clips of their doings in the house.

The first clip was of Henna and Tero upstairs. Henna licked sparkly wine off of Tero's stomach and her hand also was seen going down towards Tero's scrotch. Tero have been very close to Tuuli, with Tuuli taking their relationship more seriously. Tero had some explaining to do after everyone saw, what really went on upstairs last Saturday. Nothing really did happen.

After the HMs realized they would be shown clips of just about anything, some of the HMs turned a bit quiet for a while...a few of them have been really bashing other HMs behind their backs.

This week's nominations will also be shown, at least a part of them. Remains to be seen, whether they will show everyone's clips or not. First to go was Anna's nominations.

I'm still not quite sure, how BB will judge this task. It's not really a task, more like an experiment of how all this will affect the HMs mentally. One of the guests of the Extra-show said, that this year the HMs are more like human labrats.

antos 23-11-2008 07:44 PM

Anna, Alex and Tuuli were evicted. It was a close voting, as all of the HMs were within 6-percent margin.

This means, that the finalists are Anniina, Jarmo, Johan and Tero.

The weekly task also ended after the evictions. Although the task was succesfully completed (there really was no other option), understandably the 4 HMs weren't exactly celebrating the news.

antos 30-11-2008 08:02 PM

The winner of BB Finland 2008 is Anniina. She's the first ever HM, who didn't enter the house on day 1 to win BB Finland.

Also for the first time it was told at the end of the final, that BB will be back next year.

HM's to follow, as soon as they're all in. The kickoff is in progress atm, and live feeds have been opened. For techical reasons I won't be able to get the feeds for about the first two weeks. I'm just following the situation on the website.

I think the new house looks really cool! :dance2:
