 there
It was cruel.

I was laughing but not in a gloating way - more 'cause of how totally mad and surreal it was to see someone being evicted in their dressing gown & flip flops, crying their eyes out - instead of dressed in their finery, milking their 15 minutes of fame as they usually are.

If I'd seen Sara or Mikey get evicted the same way I'd have laughed too for the same reasons.

Remember no-one forces anyone to apply for Big Brother in the first place!

rayheartbliss 03-09-2008 12:17 AM

just not comfortable to see a woman who wanted to give so much friendship to the others and get booed when she came out! O.O

am worried bout some of the nation :S

Roberus 03-09-2008 12:30 AM

Was a bit mean I guess but she's one annoying person.

She's 30 years old for gods sake!! Think her Plince Charming must be a 7 year old to put up with her incessant whittering all day and to find it even remotely amusing. Think she'd drive even Mother Therasa to murder (if she was still alive of course!!).

Total immature oddball!

With both her and Mo gone in one hit it was one "Happy House" here tonight I can tell ya!! :thumbs2:

da3bool 03-09-2008 02:01 AM

I thought it was disgusting ,, i couldn't believe the booing ..

There was no need for the booing ,, disgrace ,, what has she done to deserve that?!

I guess people nowadays give respect for people who show their boobs 24/7 like Bex

:nono:

MY god! she deserved everything she got(full stop) .
Now you do sound silly.

your so RUDE! calling people silly ..
btw you've changed your tune about Kat haven't you.... trying to get those Kat votes for Rachel mahahah

Daniel__ 03-09-2008 03:54 AM

I felt really sorry for her.

brandstifter 03-09-2008 05:54 AM

To all you lads who've said she deserved everything she got...my, I bet you're a big hit with the ladies!

Ross 03-09-2008 06:06 AM

It was a cruel reaction. She has been annoying and boring for a while but that reaction was uncalled for.

She deserved boo's, but she also deserved ALOT of cheers. The crowd just like to boo people, it's part of the game.

She soon cheered up though, so I don't think she even cared.

doughnut 03-09-2008 08:10 AM

Well, relative to previous evictions the booing wasn't that bad. And considering she was so upset as she left the house she sure looked pretty happy to me when the press were taking her photo. delighted in fact. because she was getting attention. Spare me the sympathy for the manipulative, scheming, two faced, hypocritical, fickle 30 year old simpleton who behaves like she's 10. actually my 10 year old niece would have handled that situation with more dignity. she's just an idiot.

Bells 03-09-2008 08:11 AM

I find the crowd really strange. They tend to cheer housemates you least expect, or at least some get stronger cheers than others when they may not have appeared so popular in the BB house. Although I liked Lisa/Luke, I didn't expect them to get the most cheers - the same goes for Dale/Stu.

Anyway, whilst I agree Kat's singing, her voice and general persona could have been extremely irritating, she never did anything wrong - she wasn't horrible to people and didn't bitch etc., but on a show like BB entertainment = personality traits like that, but usually when it's not uncomfortable to watch. She was so obviously distressed, but unfortunately it was inevitable she'd get boos - that's part and parcel of a BB eviction - I just thought the crowd would be a bit more compassionate, but who am I kidding? If it had been a normal eviction night, I wouldn't be sat here feeling this way.

However, despite all that, Kat is a strong woman when she needs to be - she didn't let it get to her. She even stated herself "you either love me or hate me" or something along those lines, and she also outlined some of her flaws herself. I hope she's not too upset at being evicted so horribly. I have to say, despite the crying (which is natural), she dealt with it really well and at least she made it to the final week.

Big_Brutta 03-09-2008 08:17 AM

Well her interview reception was outstanding. I think she was completely oblivious to the boos anyway.

Jackie 03-09-2008 08:26 AM

I didn't think it was that bad and the booing was because she was so fake.

Roberus 03-09-2008 09:21 AM

Don't forget you have producers etc of BB telling the crowd what to do also......it's all part of the malarkey.

Rubbish

Kat was Pathetic.
Great argument, Arista. Well, I'm convinced!

Dont' go on the show, Kat has seen it enough times to know the score.

I dont like the booing but Kat did deserve a hostile reception. She got on my nerves.

GhettoSuperstar 03-09-2008 10:52 AM

Kat over-reacted with her tears without a doubt.. Whats the big deal. On BBLB they said that they expected an eviction that night and its not like Kat should of won.

I would of booed her a bit because she was crying and then because she was happier I would of er.. clapped.

SammyAyee 03-09-2008 04:23 PM

It was up to them who they boo or cheer so what if she was crying :conf2:

I wished she got booed even more though

You seem to put yourself on the spot and above others a lot dont you?

Kat auditioned for Big Brother through her own free will. She was naive if she was expecting a smooth ride the entire way through. And if some fans want to hate on a housemates on screen character and boo her when she comes out, thats fine. It is part of the Big Brother package and anybody including Kat who was or is expecting anything different is an idiot, plain and simple.

ross-oaft 03-09-2008 05:30 PM

i was not expecting that reception atal .. it was shocking, especially because Kat was so emotional at the time from being kicked out so quickly, she may have been a /bit/ annoying, but she wasn't nasty.

...and yet she's all smiley and bouncy and "Happy Happy How" in her interview.

That reception was entirely warranted.
Actually, she TRIED to laugh and smile but actually started sobbing again half way through, something you conveniently failed to spot.
