Well basically just loads of Habbo members have slots as DJ's and they play their favorite songs and do competitions and everything.

Habbo radio was epic.

I won a Japan badge for the Japanese quest competition, I remember I was so chuffed! :blush2: I went to the Hogwarts school on there too, that was so cool.

I no not on radio, without paying fees, not to sure about podcasts, will need to look indepth.

I could do competitions for money instead of habbo furniture. Seeing as I have money, but you need paypal - it would be good.

You create a server on a website... better to have its own website really.
Then, all the dj's download a program where they can add songs in, present the show and all that jazz. They can read messages sent to the server and have an e-mail thing that helps sort it all.

Its very easy once set up... you just set up a timetable and everyone has a username and only that username can broadcast at that time.

That sounds like a great idea Ross! And about the whole copyright of music thing, the Habbo radios get away with it so I don't see why we couldn't play music on air?

If you got Google Ads then you could get loads of members to keep clicking the links and then get enough money to pay the fees to play music on a live radio.

Yeah it could, I suppose with a radio the show could be developed to a new level.

I remember I used to always ask Lost_Witness and HelKat for a Habbo badge. :laugh:

We could even release our own TIBB singles... and give them regular playing slots! hehe.
Random fact for you all... I have a qualification in Radio Production ;)

I presented my own radio show to about 10,000 people for 2 nights in the summer of 2007!

It would be a good idea for maybe someone to email one of the owners of a Habbo radio site and ask how they went about it.

Maybe you should open an application for DJ's, then research on advertisement deal kind of things...
But I am well behind this... I would even do my own show when I can :) But maybe you should ask the admins if you can use their name for this? If not then we can use the radio under a different name.

But who is going to pay for it all? Your not gonna do this for free...
