At the end of the day, I prefer people having good fun and stuff rather than... not having fun....and stuff...

We don't mind forum games but...

I think a lot of these games/shows could be improved if they were more 'game' and less 'show', in other words don't have loads of posts at the start saying 'welcome to tonight's show' etc. and then, for example, announcing results with an individual post every 10 minutes - put all the relevant information to the game in the first post on the topic and let people respond from there. Make it more suited to a forum and less like a TV show, is my advice.

And the best forum games are the ones which everyone can get involved in if they want and aren't cliquey. Getting people to 'apply' and having u2u voting puts members that might not be well-known on the forum off getting involved also I think.

Most of them are in one thread now, I think people know now.

Also, some people just like to moan and why is it so bad for people to 'apply' that way anyone has a chance, it's up to the host. If everyone joined in, it's not a game then because 1) certain games only need certain ammount of players so the host will still have to pick people.

2) As for cliquey, people are going to stick by their friends, not just in forum games.

Yeah, I agree. Game would be better. At the end of the day, I don't see who it's harming.

GhettoSuperstar 20-10-2008 05:36 PM

Each to their own.

On another note this is discussing the same thing so it ain't making a point.

P.s. I don't post in the 'reality' things.

Yeah I think the "games" are a good way of having fun on the Forums and keeping the Forum going when Big Brother or CBB aren't on and we're waiting for news - I've participated in a few and done well in them last year. I'd like to get involved in more but my main problem is getting the time to be online at "live shows". I feel there is pressure on me and people try and push me to be online at inconvenient times or pull me up and say that it's a problem that I'm not online when they want me to be so I tend not to volunteer myself for that reason alone.

I love TiBB - I love all the banter everyone has and I love the wee fights and everything. Its like my second home
