Minder did well - it got Five's highest ever ratings for an original drama...
|
WOW at corrie.
|
Awful for Minder, with all the promotion I would of hopped over 3.5million for it but it was against tough competition. From what I have read about it on DS it sounds like the audience will fall next week. If it can stay over 2million for its run, a second series will be likely
C4 did very well while BBC1 was the biggest loser of the night |
Thursday 5 February
BBC1 20.00- Life of Riley: 4.2m (17.2%) 20.30- The Green Green Grass: 3.9m (15.4%) 21.00- Hustle: 5.5m (22.2%) BBC2 20.00- Masterchef: 4.4m (17.4%) * 20.00-20.15: 3.7m (15.4%) * 20.45-21.00: 5.0m (19.4%) * 2008 slot average: 2.0m * 2009 series average: 3.4m (14%) * 2008 series average: 3.1m (12.7%) 21.00- Victorian Farm: 3.7m (14.9%) ITV1 20.00- The Bill: 5.0m (20%) 21.00- Piers Morgan On...: 3.7m (15%) C4 20.00- Ten Years Younger: 2.5m (10%) [+1: 248,000] 21.00- Killer In A Small Town: 1.9m (7.9%) Five 20.00- Cowboy Builders: 1.8m (7%) 21.00- Soho Blues: 1.1m (4.6%) More: The one show 6.1m Eastenders 10m Emmerdale 7.2m BBC 10o'clock news 6.1m ITV news at ten 2.9m |
Both news shows at 10pm did better last night
Great for Hustle, winning the 9pm slot again, will defiantly get another series Still surprised Life of Riley is still getting good ratings because it is awful. BBC2 the big winner of the night, C4 the loser of the night |
A few Saturday night ratings;
BBC1 Rugby; 4.7m 24% share Total Wipeout; 6.6m 28% (peak at EIGHT million) Lottery. 7.75m 33.6% Casualty. 6.8m 30% ITV1 You've Been Framed. 5.4m 25% Harry Hill. 5.6m 24% Demons. 3.4m 15% Wow at Total Wipeout!!! Its a great sucess!!! Demons dropping even more!!! |
Eastenders and corrie both 10 million, looking good.
|
I don't think Demons will be getting a second series..
Great for Total Wipeout, I think i'm one of few who aren't surprised by its success and Richard Hammond has been surprisingly good. Casualty needs the 8pm Sunday slot otherwise it going to decline further |
Is hammond on total wipeout?
If so i think ill watch it next time. |
Yeah Richard Hammond presents it but I think last nights episode was the last in the series
|
Ratings for the series of Total Wipeout:
These are the officials and are from Barb: Ep 1- 6.5m Ep 2- 4.85m Ep 3- 5.33m Ep 4- 5.05m Not sure what Ep 5 got? But Ep 6 (Sat) got 6.6m (Overnight), could go to 7m in officials.... its weird that it reached an 8m peak!!! |
Probably got 8million peak because of the TV burp audience turning over

Thought the Bafters would of done better:conf:
|
People seem to think it got great ratings, probably because of DOI Results being on at the same time, not sure.
|
BAFTA's did well, without DOI competition it could of easily got 7million because of the hype around Slumdog Millionaire
Very strong for C4 with that film BBC1 holds up well against DOI but the DOI figures are a little dissapointing for me. I think it would work best over 2 nights |
I wished id watched ross kemp now.
and why did 9m people watch dancing ... |
