You've got it all wrong.

Maybe she was fed questions but that has no impact on how the interview goes, its all down to the interviewer. Just imagine if Fiona handled the same interview with questions fed in her ear, she would have put her foot in it left right and centre!

Keeping calm is the point. A good interview is balanced and something like that challenging opinions. A good interview is not attempting to undermine the other person and basically having a go at them. She doesn't have a go at him, its clear of her viewpoint but it doesn't get in the way of the way the interview is done, she just challenges him on what he says. Some other interviewers might lose their temper, it happens on the news all the time, one example when the presenter on ITV News started laying into someone she was interviewing because of fuel increases.

I thought she asked her first question again near to the end, just using a few different words!

But, Kate was best for the job out of Andrew and her. She worked on Sky News and BBC News before GMTV, shes a proper journalist and not a ex-tennis player like Andrew.

IMO, the new girl Emma would have been great for it, shes talented. Worked at Sky, NBC, BBC.

Back to the questions though, I'd of asked a lot more such as;

"You have to admit some Iraqi's, mainly women, are thankful for the British Army's assistance in helping them become more independent"

..he said something about 'Soldiers in Ireland die and theres thousands who protest, we protest and we get hated'

I'd of asked; "But theres a difference between thousands of people peacefully protesting, and a group swearing and holding intimidating signs, surely you could of got you're message through in an less hateful way?"

Turning into a proper little journalist now :whistle:
But. Kate stuck to her questions, is much more authorititive and overall better interviewer than Andrew.

The way the questions were being asked though and the way she responded, she wasn't being told that down her ear thats all her. Thats where I'm saying her views came across

Thanks for that interview, there were so many things that annoyed me in that interview. He raises the point he was born and raised here, so why he is going out of his way to insult our (his) country/government. If you insult the soldiers, our heroes. Then you insult us.

Why the hell is he sticking up for Sadam? He killed far more Iraqi's than our soldiers have.
