Oooh forgot Kettle Chips. I've been eating them a lot more recently. Sea Salt and Balsamic Vinegar is ****ing awesome.

My friend hates it when I eat crisps because I always spend the next hour picking my teeth for any left overs.

I've never heard of those crisps, and I've eaten crisps deep down in Plymouth and as way up as Sunderland. May I ask what country you're in?

Have you ever tried that with any other flavours?
I haven't actually... I can't think of anything else that would be ok, apart from maybe ready salted?

Very strange
Do you have any theories behind why that could be?

I must have had a bad packet when i was a kid:shrug:

I hate butter cheese milk as well
My first job was in a co-op, and the milk fridge was rarely cleaned and stank. Since then, I can't go near milk.

Indeed it was not.. I make the pasta sauce mix with pasta and smoked sausage and onions (sometimes mushrooms) then top it all with big knobs of Philadelphia cheese (which all melts into sauce) then top it all with cheese and crisps. I serve this with salad and diet coke!
You should honestly try it!

I assume by your name that you may prefer French Cuisine? Well thats not much better.

Italian, now thats a real food.
Spanish, love the tapas idea. I like loads of flavours.

Westernised Chinese food, again I like many dishes and pick from each.

English food isnt that great as a whole, especially the love of offal and odd meats. I saw some pigs trotters in a shop recently.

Oh, and maybe the first person to make a crisp sandwich wasn't British, as such it wouldnt be part of are culinary arts.

That sounds good!

I'm rather boring and lazy when it comes to cooking. I do enjoy putting lots of cheese on pretty much everything I eat though.

I'm French, i have taste. Puting any such monstrosity of a creation in my mouth would be doing insult to thousands of years of French culinary supremacy.

I'm surprised too, you guys are right accost the channel. You'd think some of it would have rubbed off on you. Yet you still eat mayo and crisp sandwitchs and deep fry anything and everything.

Since Enid's post about Kettle chips, maybe the sea salt and black pepper ones might be worth a shout.

Just a thought.....

I heard a rumor ages ago that you can still get the Phyillias Fogg Extraordinarly Hot Tortilla crisps in Ireland, is that true?

Enid 23-06-2009 09:57 AM

Meh, I don't get the big emphasis on cuisine. It doesn't have to be a masterpiece for you to enjoy it. Sure I love a proper Italian pizza every now and again, but I'm quite happy buying a frozen one down Sainsbury's.

Lol, that sounds exactly like what I would think a French person would have said about English food.

Especially the word monstrosity.....LMAO.

Man, I'm a little baked.

and this kind of apathy is prob why British food sucks balls. When you're willing to shove anything in your mouth why take the time and care to make somthing special with class. lets just go down to the local dirty take away and get some deep fried monstrocity and eat it out of some news paper well we down it with some cheap beer well we wait for our welfare cheques to come.

Then I now consider myself a lucky man to have no allergies.
