The main point of not knowing whats going on in the outside world is to not know how they were being portayed on the show and how there are all percieved, im sure when they did the newreader task in bb8 they had some bits of real news of the outside world mixed in with there messages from home.

i love this. stu is obviously baiting the two of you and you're biting. he's having a discussion on the basic principles of outside contact..... talking about how they should be defined. you two are reacting to him. it's quite funny. he's nitpicking a little and you too are just reacting.

It's not nitpicking. I was just making the point originaly that clearly even having outsiders in the house is a breach of the rule. Then one member got snappy with this, and another pointed out to me for some strange reason that the ex-housemates were not meant to tell them anything, which I never disagreed or even said anything about to begin with. Then when I explained my standpoint calmly, this member decided ''screw it, I am not listening to him'' while the other reufses to listen to me because I curse, despite the fact that that same member directly insulted me with an expletive which I have never done to him/her.

It's not baiting. I am just doing my part to battle ignorance. Read the posts. You can see it for yourself.
