I couldn't care less if it was pointless, for the cameras, for the highlight show or whatever. I actually would prefer it if housemates decided to actually do things deliberately for the cameras. After all, that is what they are there for.

The real reason is that they were bored, hungry and already had some glimmers of fun with the previous housemates coming in. When you're sitting around all day, quite basically many things seem funner than they used to.

Yes but they haven't been consistent with it over the 6 weeks, or showed that at all. When it's genuine, it's far easier to sustain and reveal at all times of the day. You don't need to bottle it up or save it for a special occassion, as was seen here. It also comes across as contrived and fake, as dim-Rod even realised.

I agree they were bored, hungry and motivated because of the ex HMs. But if they were interesting and of a similar standard to the ex HMs, then they'd only be left with the hunger issue; so they could still be genuinely entertaining, and as a result be less vandalising/OTT/contrived/temporary in their actions today.

It had a sense of 'too little too late, so don't bother doing this BS' IMO. :shrug:

But that does not bother me. Again, I expect all housemates at some point to do something purely motivated by attempting to entertain the viewers and/or to appear on the highlights. If they were not to, it would negate the concept of the show to me.

I thought the episode was interesting and funny. I don't think it came across as fake. It is simply that many of the HMs are very, very bored and have started (quite literally) climbing the walls. Being confined in a single location with relatively little to do makes people start to behave in unusual ways. Surely that is at least one of the points of the programme. I thought Rodrigo was annoying in the Diary Room. I don't think the ex-HMs have been any more interesting than the current ones.

Ahmed, let Sree go! Freddie being sheep is just you just not happy that Freddie didnt go but Sree. Freddie wanted the whole house to have a party, food.... I commend him for doing that and so did dogface, charlie, siavash and noirin.... marcus has always been the more aggressive one but clearly everybody wanted to eat better than just chickpeas!

I'm not calling people idiots for not liking Rodrigo...I'm calling them idiots for not recognizing that he is the one single respectable and normal person in there. My reaction to them doing the pathetic roof protest would have been sheer embarrassment...my reaction to them destroying the place like wild animals would have been disgust. He was clearly disgusted too, like any normal person over the age of 15 would be.

He's well mannered, attractive, moral and emotional...traits the other housemates don't have one of between them. Him and Karly are the only two people in the house that a normal person would consider socializing with...and they seem to be the most hated two...why? ...Because BB's mass fanbase is made up of people who relate to the socially inept, the ugly, the mentally ill (Pete) and the weak (Freddie).

The last normal person to win BB was Kate. Back in the days when BB was a social experiment and not a circus. :bored:

Rodrigo is a hypocrit ....................encouraging Charlie to take the fire extinguiser into the bathroom, yet having a hissy fit when stuff is thrown into the pool. He is a petulant kill-joy who is becoming more insufferable day by day. And why single out Freddie as the "villain" when Marcus/Siavash were just as involved. Pleased to see that his odds to win with the bookies are dropping due to his increasingly volatile behaviour.

I'm with you AhmedFan. In my opinion, the 'revolts' were really very childish and immature. Surely they didn't really think that BB would give in to their demands over their pathetic attempts at blackmail.

Please don't slate me for my comment. I respect other peoples' views and wouldn't dream of criticising anybody else just because their views are different to mine.
