Yes.

What would you do if you saw her in the street Sophie?

Marc 18-08-2009 05:13 PM

I don't hate her, but she is probably the most annoying women ever

InOne 18-08-2009 05:17 PM

I wonder how many times she will be beat up outside of the house lol

Prole 18-08-2009 05:20 PM

I'm not sure about being beaten up... but she's never going to be taken at face value again surely. She's shown herself to be selfish, manipulative and highly melodramatic, and a leopard doesn't change its spots.

I bet there will be girls who want to attack her. They hate girls like her, especially ones just like her.

Jezzy 18-08-2009 07:09 PM

Alexandra from BB9 had her car smashed up...and her exposure was far less than Bea's.

I actually find it quite frightening that people are unable to draw a line between a gameshow (entertainment) and a personal and particular reason to lust for "revenge"

If Bea went to a nightclub or even a festival I think she would get a ALOT of trouble.

She would, undoubtedly. I doubt even Ibiza will be far enough away not to draw some vitriolic comments...

jegmeister 18-08-2009 07:15 PM

hate is too good for her - what waste it on a lowlife? I despise her utterly

Don't they get our BB in quite a few countries now aswell lol She just can't escape!!!!

*mazedsalv** 18-08-2009 07:17 PM

I never use the word hate for people. Just extreme dislike.

InOne 18-08-2009 07:19 PM

I just think she needs to be sectioned.

Jezzy 18-08-2009 07:23 PM

Regarding a previous comment of yours, InOne...it would actually be really interesting to find out what all the professed "haters" would actually say they'd do if they met her in the street....any takers?

InOne 18-08-2009 07:24 PM

She will never be able to walk freely down Bristol again that is for sure.

Jezzy 18-08-2009 07:33 PM

You're probably right. As Freddie said (and I rarely quote him) - "silly little girl"

Yup, just a shame she tore Freddie to shreads.

It is such a welcome change to have this kind of thread as opposed to the Sophie is pregnant, Why I hate Bea, I won't watch any more if **** gets evicted ****. I thanked you yesterday and I thank you again. Interesting that this is one of the topics that continues to run

Yes I do try to sophisticate my topics. Im mostly interested in the psychology behind the housemates actions, and other random stuff. I have also convinced myself that the little minx is a Sociopath, and I don't think im wrong.

Jezzy 18-08-2009 08:05 PM

The psychology is probably the only reason I continue to watch BB. Unfortunately the producers have really screwed it up this year by meddling too much.

Sociopathic is interesting. I am not sure whether a sociopath is formed by nature or nurture, and she does display signs, like her inability to empathise. But this could equally be socialised - maybe her upbringing revolved around her being the princess, in which case it is not necessarily sociopathic, but conditioning.

Not a disagreement at all, but open for discussion....which is why the "hate" question is also so appealing.

Yeah she has alot of the features. But her Dad is a millionaire which will boost her ego further. A rich Sociopath is never good!!! I agree BB have been slack this year and not let the housemates truly become themselves. It is also interesting how this year the women absolutely clobbered the men!!! Especially Noirin!

Jezzy 18-08-2009 09:38 PM

Yeah, most of the men have been made to look weak this year. I think it's why Marcus keeps gaining in popularity.

I am still not convinced that it is sociopathy over total spoiledness and being sheltered from the Real World. At 24 and having been totally spoiled I may have reacted similarly that my bubble beliefs had been popped, and I certainly would have found it frightening that I could have been so HATED for it.

Norin, I think, is almost Bea's opposite in some ways, that she had to search for acceptance and it manifested in sexual acceptance. Bea approaches from the other end of the spectrum - it was a given to her that she WOULD be accepted.

Interesting stuff, and I wish it had been allowed to play out.

Yeah iv'e heard that where Bea lives there are alot of girls like her. Not sure if they are that malicious. Noirin just like the attention really, but she was a player and did think alot of herself. She was not that good looking imo.

I've never met Hitler, Mussolini, Pol Pot, Saddam Hussein but I'm pretty sure I hate them and maybe hate is a strong word for a contestant, albeit an evil bitch of a one, on a game show, but I certainly detest the woman and all her attention grabbing antics. Really, how upset and offended can one person be about so much that ultimately means so very little?

I wonder if she actually thinks she is going to get the sympathy vote of the public lol

I think this is the crux of the topic. If it means so little, how can anyone use a word as powerful as hate?

Not sure I see it as learned behaviour as if it was, presumably her mother or siblings would have appeared on the hologram to give their blessing to her performances thus far. Hate is a strong word for any human being, of course there are notable exceptions(see previous post) but I don't think she carries that mantle just yet. Still three days to go though lol:banana::hello:

InOne 18-08-2009 09:52 PM

Nobody can hate her, she is a tv villain, her emotions are about as real as the BB studio. Like Marcus said everything is magnified 10x in there.

Jezzy 18-08-2009 10:16 PM

If I truly, truly *hated* someone....and by that, I mean if someone killed a member of my family, or were bent on destroying them - then I would have no compunction about taking them out of this world forever. That is how strong HATE is to me.

So InOne's last comment should put things into perspective. It's a ****ing TV show for goodness' sake.

Won't get through to the people that meet her on the street though.

Yep, plenty of idiots out there looking for a fight.

bansheewails 18-08-2009 10:30 PM

I saw Kiefer Sutherland in a pub once and didn't approach him, and I like him! I can't image wasting my time on someone I can't even watch on TV without putting mute on, nevermind approaching them to hassle them about a reality TV show!

I cannot image shouting or abusing a person I have never met before about something they said on TV!

You are a decent person that is why!!! But people who hardly watched it will go for her I think. Especially girls, I bet the stories will start coming when she is evitced or leaves.

bansheewails 18-08-2009 10:43 PM

I would rather ignore someone I didn't like than give them the satisfaction of me knowing who they are!

I can hate the Bullying witches that were at school with me (i wasn't bullied but a friend was)! I would remind them of it now if I saw them (and have done to one of them!

But a Mouthy Witch on TV, her I would ignore!

Jezzy 18-08-2009 10:46 PM

Twould hurt the bullies far much more to be ignored, I think.

InOne 18-08-2009 10:46 PM

Yeah I think the whole nation shunning her would be alot worse than being beaten up.

bansheewails 18-08-2009 10:47 PM

Now that would be an eviction worth watching! If she came out to hundreds of people who were silent! Filing their nails, texting and taking photo's of each other not her!

:laugh3:

Can you just imagine? It would be lovely if Friday's audience were instructed to do just that.

bansheewails 18-08-2009 10:51 PM

It would be so great. Neutral! Not postive or Negative! She would have a melt down trying to work that one out!

InOne 18-08-2009 10:59 PM

Annoyingly she would probs find some way to see it as a good thing.

Jezzy 18-08-2009 11:02 PM

I don't think she's quick enough to be able to turn that scenario around....
