Nah, not fate as such. But more so that none of our decisions are ultimately our choice. Whether that's down to genes or past experiences, etc.

The belief that every event leads to another bigger event. Kind of like Final Destination (e.g. the woman puts the tea towel over the knives, then falls, needs the tea towel for something, the knives fall and then she dies)

Then 3 main arguments about it, whether we're fully controlled by someone/something else, if we have a set route but still make decisions or if we're completely free to do what we want. Its all about free will and such.

Another example. I turn on the TV and see some rice pudding, the next day I subconsciously buy some ingredients to make some rice pudding but accidentally burn it. Years later, I am in a restaurant and given a choice of desert. Rice pudding or treacle cake. I choose treacle cake because of my bad experience with rice pudding.

My parents raised me as Christian and I've to go to church until I leave home. I hardly believe any of it tbh..

To be honest, the more I learnt about it through school etc. the more far fetched and hard to believe it came. It's a catholic school and everything lol

I think people need to believe in something more as such. They should learn to live life to the full and realise how lucky they are to actually be here.

Yep they do, they say as long as I live under their roof I'll be going to church and I can do whatever I want when I leave, but they got me baptised and its their duty to take me to mass every week etc.

That is the arrogant narrow minded view of the world, an atheist has.
An atheist by definition doesnt believe in god, because they cant see it. They dont have the ability to expand their minds into something they cant see. Faith is something a narrow minded individual cant possess.
A religious person, who really believes, has the ability to believe in the unknown, which makes them broadminded, and humble. the opposite. SO there are those 2 kinds of people in the world.:blush:

No its not really that which makes it arrogant. Its the fact that you are calling the religious person, ignorant, and stupid. That shows how narrow minded you are. And its a trait most atheist have. Imo, they arent able to reach the depth required to fathom that it could be true.

Theists have blind faith and Muslims and Christians believe anyone who does not follow their Religion is going to hell hmmmm great....
