Oh don't get me started on this generations obsession with dry emotional rock. The Fray's being the primary suspects. Rock music for boyfriends to buy they're girlfriends. Take Coldplay, batter them into a frying pan, boil for twenty minuets, feed it to your dog, collect the ensuing dog diarrhea, eat it yourself, stick your fingers down your throat, throw it up, press it onto a disc, and you have The Fray.

These days a lot of "rock" bands lack any real attitude or passion for their music. They just want to fill their pockets.

I actually prefer Can to Kraftwerk. And Bowie's electronic stuff was great just after them anyway.

But yeah, for me it has to be The Doors.

That's where respecting others opinion ends for me.

It's all well and good to wear flowers in your hair and say everyone is entitled to an opinion up to a certain point but if you rate John & Edward higher than the Beatles it's either not an informed opinion, which in this case it's not, or you deserve serious concentration campage.

ugh this thread is a prime example of the modern day belief that 'I'm entitled to my opinion' regardless of how utterly ignorantly said opinion has been formed.
