When you take into account that there are far more homophobes who simply hate him for his 'assumed sexuality', I think you'll find that I've done no wrong by expressing my opinion on his sexuality in a fair, but not insulting way. It's really not. He does not write his own songs or music. He is the product of a squeaky clean 'singing' competition, he sings what he is told to sing, says what he is told to say. He is a puppet, that is not an artist, and that is not music.

You may not have meant it to be insulting - but to suggest that someone is gay/bisexual when they have never stated that they are - is insulting! If he isn't - then it is untrue. If he is - then he clearly doesn't want to divulge that to the rest of the world. And it is no one else's place to do so.

To be fair - he has to be those things at the moment - to win the competition and to fulfill his contract. He is only 18 - in time, if he becomes an established singer - he will be in more of a position to dictate his own terms and produce his own style of music.

Of course it's not. Homophobes are scared of homosexual people because it's not seen as the 'normal' thing to do, and if they are seen to be supporting them - they think they'll be looked down upon. They're narrow minded and ignorant people. It's got nothing to do with questioning peoples sexuality, that's just showing interest (whether good or bad). All part of human nature.

Well as I've said, I was quick to judge and yes it's wrong. But it's human nature and something that will come naturally to the majority of people - whether you'll admit it or not.

Give him chance! Many people have come from singing competitions and now release their own material. This is him making his entrance into the business, don't try and assume what he is going to make in the future.
