No word on Wikipedia of a Series 9, lets hope they mention somthing at the end of the show about the 9th Series.

Tom 25-02-2010 10:19 PM

Its really boring now. The first series or so was good but since then its just become a parody of itself and its really predictable. I'm also now really cynical about whether its staged or not because surely they'd get recognised?

Twilight 25-02-2010 10:24 PM

I still can't believe Tibb owner was on this:P

Mark 25-02-2010 10:55 PM

Glad you liked it

Which is why the series is called 'Real Hustle: Undercover'

bbfan1991 27-02-2010 05:00 PM

Also all three are trained actors so their skills from that can help them carry out the skills to help them keep people unsuspicious in the scams.

Jess= Sue Windle:p.

The BBC have recommissioned the popular TV show 'The Real Hustle' for another 2 Series, following the success of the past 8 series.

Paul, Alex and Jess will all return for Series 9.
We last saw the 3 hustlers at the beginning of 2010 in 'The Real Hustle: Undercover' were the gang would dress up as other characters to perform scams as they are now becoming recognized.

The show started as a spin off show to BBC1 show 'Hustle' but soon became a hit in 2006, since Series 5 the show has had a theme to every series.

In 2006 the gang performed 'The 12 Scams of Christmas' and in 2008 the hustlers went to Las Vegas to do some hectic scams.
And just last year in 2009 we saw Alex, Jess and Paul on their holiday for Series 7.

TRH Series 9 will see the hustlers carry out scams that are bigger, tougher and more devious than ever before with the help of some celebrity friends.

Series 9 'The Real Hustle: Celebrity Scammers' will kick off with a double bill on Thursday 29th July on BBC3 at 10:30.

You can see 'The Real Hustle: Celebrity Scammers' Trailer and Opening Sequence here.

They must be recognised by now.

They are that's why the last series was undercover, not sure how they will do this series I think they are just getting celebrities in to do their dirty work which is quite weird considering the celebrities are probably more recognised than them :joker:

I reckon that's why it's on BBC3, Not many people watch it.
They could easily put it on BBC1 and get alot more viewers, I wonder how much ratings TRH get's though, I may ask Salv next week lol

InOne 21-07-2010 01:23 PM

Yeah the uncover thing was alright. Sorta getting bored of it though, was good when they went to America and that. I do also question how staged it is now.

bbfan1991 21-07-2010 02:01 PM

Awesome news:cool::D.

Jords 21-07-2010 03:58 PM

Ive been watching this on BBC3 really early past few days, glad to hear its coming back.

The Real Hustle: Celebrity Scammers

Starts tonight on BBC3 at 10:30PM with a Double Bill!
Who's watching?

Tom5 01-08-2010 07:23 PM

Are they still doing new series?

I used to be a big fan but it's not as good any more, it started to go downhill at High Stakes. I loved the first series, it's what got me hooked but the scams they do now are too predictable and very unlikely to happen.

I loved the 12 Scams of Christmas they did and Las Vegas was brilliant but getting celebs to hustle and wearing disguises is just ridiculous now. They're even repeating their old bar bets/prop bets, they've run out of ideas. Scams that took up 5 minutes of previous shows are now being made into new series.

The Forth Bridge will have a starring role in the new series of The Real Hustle when it becomes the target of a clever scam.

The bridge, which crosses the Firth of Forth, will be the setting for one of the team’s biggest cons yet as they go about selling and trying to sell pieces of the Network Rail-owned crossing, the Daily Record reports.

Lead “hustler” Scottish magician and gambling expert Paul Wilson is joined by his faithful duo Alexis Conran and Jessica Jane Clement for the new series of the BBC Three show, The Real Hustle, New Recruits.

And a source told the paper that viewers are in for a treat when they see the clever scam, which truly tests the team's skills. The insider said: “They are put through their paces setting up a fake stockbroking firm, posing as art gallery owners and even selling pieces of the Forth Bridge.”

The core team will be joined by two newcomers, Polly Parsons and Jazz Linott, who are being lined up to carry out the most “devious” scams so far.

The hustlers will also be joined by celebrity guests in the new show, which will see the team pickpocket tourists and steal items from right under the owners’ noses.

The Real Hustle sees notorious scams carried out on members of the public, which are filmed with hidden cameras. The aim is to reveal how scams work, so people are aware of and can avoid cons.

A new iPhone app has been developed to work alongside the new series of the hit show. Called World’s Greatest Bar Bets, the app allows users to win drinks through simple bets.

The 10th series of the show, which is filmed in Scotland, will kick off in the autumn.
