Undoubtedly Christianity today does have a very dated, dictorial, reserved and austere image - one with which doesn't sit well with today's youngsters, who have grown up in a more free-thinking generation!

As a result - the number of Christians and churchgoers have dropped significantly! I can understand the idea that Dave's group have adopted and tried to attach a more 'modern' fun image onto Christianity with their less formal, unreserved, sloshfests and publicity stunts! All about 'reaching' a wider audience! It doesn't make it sinister!

Whether people approve is a matter of taste, but if their sentiments behind it are genuine, and as far as I can see - there is no reason to suppose they are not - that is what counts - not the way they go about it - surely!

Another point, did anyone hear the converstaion between Dave & Mario, when Mario thought Dave lived in Newbury?

Dave said he didn't live there then said " I wish I did, lotsa money there..."

If it was a sincere I might agree but piecing together the you tube vids and what I see hear him saying in the house (lets not go over it again ... I have personally heard him go against the principles he proffesses to teach) then how is anyone expected to believe that he IS sincere? As he would say 'It doesn't add up'

That I can respect, I don't want to alter your opinion in the least but you said you haven't heard or seen him doing anything wrong ... its not subjective when he tells his 'friend' that he would never turn on him and within seconds of that person leaving, tells everyone that he wouldn't trust him as far as he can throw him! This behaviour is not acceptable by any of the HMs but from a self proffessed man of God it is diabolical in the extreme.
If you haven't heard him say that and similar things then, as I said before ... you need to do a bit more research before defending him blindly.

The 'bitching' you are talking about is a pretty lame reason to call a man of religion a charleton! I am not interested in that - it has nothing to do with the allegations you make about him as a fraud! If I have missed some bitching from him on live-feed - that wouldn't change my views about him not being charleton - it would take more than that!

He is undoubedly one of the nicer hms, more grounded, more pleasant to be around, he has more interesting conversation, is funny and if I were in there - he is one of the ones I would want to spend my time around! That is how I judge him as a hm!

The fact that Dave has quite a large fan base - knocks that rather 'optimistic' figure you give out of the water!

Again simple interpretations. Trouble is you 3 try, very hard, to present your interpretations as fact, when of course, they aren't! - and expect the rest of us to just buy it! When asked for facts - you cry, provide a defence! Avoidance tactics!

Maybe you should just stop taking everything he says quite so literally - and follow your own advice and excercise a bit of commonsense!
