I don't like the idea of having a mod for each section. This idea, where moderators regularly review each board, is much better.

It's like saying that a certain member may only post in one board, etc. Mods are entitled to post in any board, and they can deal with people in the boards they see. Good idea, but the method we've got now is better, IMO.

It wouldn't require changing the current method. There would still be global moderators, but in addition there would be separate board moderators just giving extra help in sections they were assigned with, as global mods having to do everything at once can't be easy. People haven't warmed to the idea though so that's fine :tongue:

Nothing against you, but I felt that comment to be patronising, so did some others. And as for the trolling, yes, I believe you do troll the forum to bump up your post count. I will be watching you like a hawk to ensure you do not troll.

I think we should have elections for mods. Every 6 months, we should have an election to replace 2 mods. The mods that have the lowest votes should be booted out, and then we have an election to select 2 new mods.

That would be awesome and very democratic.

That doesn't happen though. We can all see what mod does what, so if there is an objection to anything we can all say. We don't just get to do whatever we want.
