Annie 27-09-2011 12:41 PM

Just found out about this today from Redmoon. Actually devastated that someone who full of life has lost theirs.
I will always remember him for recruiting me as first girl to the Brotherhood with Ben and Andy and David. And his love of topless girls and food.
I lost him on facebook and thought he had just deleted me after chatting everyday. Now I know the truth but I wish I knew sooner.

RIP Andy - always remembered.

BigBrotherfan4ever 27-09-2011 01:22 PM

RIP Andy

He told me he was about 3 or 4 years younger than me.. so that'd make him about 32/33-ish when he passed..

Quite shocking news to be honest. I guess you never really think about these things when someone you know from online just disappears one day.

He was a cracking laugh.. I reckon he was probably like that in real life too. Shame for his family & friends.. losing him at that age..

I talked to him loads during Zeta Vs Brotherhood.

For those of you who weren't around then.. I used to chat with him on here.. then one evening when I wasn't online.. he started up the Brotherhood... He sent out 'invites' by PM to people. He was acting like you could only chat in his thread if you'd been invited. He forgot to invite me.

So when I came online and found out I hadn't been invited, I pretended like I was p*ssed off with him and started yakkin at him for 'forgetting' to invite me.. I told him it was too late to make it up to me [again, jokingly] and I started up the Cult of Lili and said my Cult would be more popular than his Brotherhood..

A few name-changes later, we had turned into Zeta, and the whole Zeta Vs Brotherhood wars began. We had a lot of laughs with that.. and I'm sure we irked the mods when things got out of hand. The funny thing is.. while the forum was divided and arguing, Andy and I were PMing each other laughing like ****** about it like a couple of sh*t-stirring kids..

Those were good times.. I know everyone gets nostalgic about certain time periods on forums.. but that does stand out to me as a time where I enjoyed coming on here and having a laugh..

Anyway, I'm rambling on... so I'll conclude by saying.. RIP Andy.. Wherever you are now.. Xx

Shaun 28-09-2011 12:42 AM

when you put it that way linda it's kinda like we owe him for us lot (the zeta/fierce people) being so close-knit as we are now...

Scarlett. 28-09-2011 12:56 AM

He sure left a big mark on this place

Mrluvaluva 28-09-2011 11:33 AM

This is sad news indeed. It not the thing you expect to read when you come on the site.

I remember him as a great member that spent a lot of time on the site making it an interesting and fun place to be. Some of his post and threads were just wonderful and his love of Big Brother and the site amazing. He will be missed by many still here and by even more people that have left the site over the years. He will have touched so many with his posts and his love of life. What is more he always seemed to be here and his loyalty to his friends was commendable. He was so young that this is a big shock for all of us and I hope he is in peace where ever he is.

It has been nice to see Linda and other old members back even if it under because of this sad news. Seeing their names again on TiBB, and working out which name Stropz (aka Linda etc etc) was using brought up some old threads and memories. But there is another side to this, it shows how Anyman's passing has left a footprint on TiBB and while TiBB goes on he will be remembered, as will all of us that have posted here over the years.

Tom4784 28-09-2011 06:54 PM

He was a great member and as Shaun and Linda said if it wasn't for him I wouldn't have made such close friends with a lot of the members on here. I had my suspicions that something like this had happened but I always hoped for a happier outcome.

He'll be missed.

Niall 28-09-2011 08:54 PM

I never knew Andyman at all really. The little that I did know, I only garnered from other members and that was mostly that he was something of a legend on here. i was really keen to see him return just to know why he was so sorely missed so I'm really sad to hear that he's passed away.

RIP.

Sawyer 28-09-2011 09:33 PM

RIP Andyman, I knew of you but we never spoke :(

Does anyone know what happened to President?

sooty 01-10-2011 05:22 PM

I sometimes wondered why he stopped posting.

I miss his Sunday roast signature.

R.I.P. Andyman.

Sad news to hear it so long after the event, especially for a member that clearly was much loved on here.

Think what you've done here is a rather fitting and incredibly nice way of putting forward the Forums own tribute to him.
