I've not been a big fan of Alex in the past because I have a very low stupidity threshold. Having said that, I have warmed to Alex. I still think she's staggeringly naive and not particularly well-educated (like many of the others in there), but she does seem to be the real McCoy. I've not heard say anything about anyone that she's not been willing to say to their face. She didn't want to talk about nominations or be swayed from making her own decision, and respect for that. She joins in everything, she's game for anything (I would never have done the spray tan thing...) and she makes the best of things. She mixes with everybody and isn't intimidated by people who are cleverer than she is. I think she's a genuinely sweet kid with a good heart. What you see is definitely what you get with Alex, and although she isn't my favourite to win I wouldn't be at all disappointed if she did walk away with it.

Not really.

But, to be fair. I felt the exact same about Josie BB11, Sophie BB10 and Rachel BB9 and they all won. So quite obviously I don't share the same opinions of the general public

True. However its the 'have a little compassion at least' part that makes it a bit different from random users saying give it a rest isnt it ;)

Yeah, she is kind of new to forums in general and didn't realise that asking for a little compassion was a strange thing to do. I don't think she got that compassion, around here, generally isnt people's strong point and that asking for it would single her out.

Ahh well, she isnt posting here anymore so it's water under the bridge I guess.

Definitely.

Shes not had any 'storylines' as to say, such as forming a rocky relationship or interlocking horns with another housemate, but I dont think BB is just about this.

Alex is funny, sweet and most of all genuine. She hasnt got a bad bone in her body and although shes dumb in some areas, shes also quite smart in others. She can put up some good banter and her friendship with Tom and the Alex/Aaron/Harry trio are both very endearing to watch. A great team player as well and doesnt get too caught up in ongoing drama.

A much deserving winner!

Not a chance.

Hadn't seen that photoshoot/ vid before.....TBH she makes the most of herself in it, doesn't she?? She comes across to me as the same girl in the house....a bit dipsy, but not daft. To me she IS just being herself, and though I preferred Maisy, I can completely understand why Alex is the favourite!!

Bumping this, as I had forgot it existed until it was (quite rudely in the way it came across) pointed out.
