I don't think that makes a difference. You can only take the exemption once you are released and before the next person is released anyway, right?

Yeah I think so too. Keep it until we really need it because someones not coming online or something like that. Not just give it away because someone fancies a free exemption.

I never bother going for exemptions unless I can be sneaky about it. :p

I'm not going to take one because I'm not bothered with being eliminated and it'll save us points anyway so I get to either be eliminated or stay in the game with the team having better points. Win win.

You're missing the part that I'm planning on taking an exemption either way. I'm giving you the option to make it cost the team 4,750 less than it would do when I go for it later.

We'll suffer if we don't use it now though because Samuel is saying up front if we don't free him with it he's going to play the game and take 5,000 points from the pot by taking an exemption.

It only lasts to midnight, and Samuel really wants the exemption so he could hold us back in the long run.

The safe bet is to just give it to him
