It's hard to imagine the mindset of someone who could harm a child. I hope to God she's found, I know we all do.

Just something not right about a 5 year old in a suburban street getting into a van. Especially if it was meant to be a close knit community nobody did anything

They better hope that man is actually involved
|
Yeah that seems very premature to put a picture of him on the front page

If this Man is completely innocent , hundreds of people that know him in his home town incl friends and family will always think he was involved cos they saw his picture in the Sun. Another mans name and reputation destroyed in a moment. Newspapers can be a force for good by this trashy tabloid should have closed down years ago .... Don't buy the Sun...!!! |

I can buy it "If this Man is completely innocent" Then he can collect his Van (which was down by a river) and get out the way. |

The Police released a lot of information about this guy very quickly which they wouldn't do if they weren't sure he had some kind of sinister involvement in this case. I agree the newspapers should NOT be allowed to try and take matters into their own hands with this - but the Sun especially seems to be a law unto itself and I would never buy it.....
If anyone was to release his picture - it should be the Police if they think it would help trigger some recognition from the public..... Am losing hope now that she is going to be found safe - if she is out there somewhere I just hope to God she is found quickly.... |

The Police have shown his picture and his Land Rover, just now Live "It's believed Mark Bridger, 46, was known to her family - but isn't a relative Locals say he is a former soldier and lifeguard with a daughter April's age Police said there was 'no news' today despite extensive searches overnight Officers urged public to leave the searching to 'trained and skilled teams' Police reveal another attempted abduction took place in area last month" Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...#ixzz28EA6zgAT |
Another trial by media I see. The press in this country is a bloody disgrace.
|
Mr Bridger, a father-of-six who had been the police’s prime suspect… Neighbours said he was a former soldier who had worked as a lifeguard, a welder, and at a slaughterhouse. He had two vehicles, one of which was a left-hand drive Land Rover Discovery made in Spain. Police had earlier said that April was seen getting into the driver’s side of the vehicle, which they suggested could mean a left-hand drive vehicle was used in the abduction.
Indeed, Det Supt Bevan said: “Furthermore April has been described as getting into the driver’s side of the vehicle. This may be because she got in with the driver or that it is left hand drive vehicle. We still believe that the van is grey or light coloured, but again these things can be affected by failing light and street lamps. The indications are that she got into the vehicle willingly… There’s nothing to suggest at this stage there was a struggle.” Back to the Telegraph, which seeks to balance its report: Ben Edwards, 22, a neighbour, said: “He is a nice guy, and absolutely brilliant with his son and daughter. He was always putting his kids first.” He said Mr Bridger was “into his cars” and was “never the type to cause any trouble whatsoever”. |

His Land Rover I thought they said it was a Van? http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2012/...05_306x423.jpg The Police Photo from yesterday "Officers have now officially named Mark Bridger as the man suspected of abducting April as she played near her home in Machynlleth on Monday evening - although they stressed that he was one of several lines of inquiry. " Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...#ixzz28EKeprlO |
Sadly the more time that passes I think the less likely they are to find this poor little girl alive - it's awful how can people hurt a child? I really hope they do find April alive but it seems odd that they have stopped the public searching now and called in experts - sadly I don't think it bodes well.

Sadly thousands of children go missing everyday not reported nationwide, but those that are reported the parents on the night most of the times seem to have been extra careless that night. McKans left Madi alone, and this one, if you look at the pics of their house and how far April was playing hmm...I just don't know. The police have taught me you can't rule out parents in these situations.

aw,her mom on TV now, feel so bad for this family.

Yeah I don't think they should have released all that info about the suspect yet, remember what happened after Chris Jefferies was arrested for the Joanna Yates thing, the Sun carried loads of headlines about what a monster and evil bastard he was and then it turned out he was completely innocent
