It seemed very bigoted. And was probably said to get a reaction.

Smoking weed, having strops outside nightclubs, turning up two hours late for shows, wearing gas masks around cities, 'having chest problems', snapping at paps....

Maybe he needs a break.

And also I think he will appeal to an older audience with this badboy behaviour.

My point is less about this individual case but more about paps in general, the way they treat a lot of celebrities is just disgusting and this gross invasion of privacy isn't acceptable. Celebrities are still human beings and shouldn't be treated any differently in this respect to a normal person on the street.

That's the price you pay when you use the paps to further your own career, most of the time the Paps are called to a location by a celeb's management so that they can stay on the news so they can hardly complain when the Paparazzi arrives.

A celebrity can choose to control the paparazzi by simply not indulging them, there's plenty of huge celebs who don't get bothered by the press because they choose not to live their lives on the front of a tabloid.

An alternative view from the Guardian:

You can clearly see he hardly pushes him, if at all, it's nowhere near 'assault'. Just a case of the pap whinging as I thought it'd be.

Probably started shouting so he could get a story out of it. Sad.

InOne 09-03-2013 01:03 PM

****ing hell, he can't act hard at all LOL

Patrick 09-03-2013 01:35 PM

He even fails at trying to sound threatening :laugh2: Oh my God.

Harry! 09-03-2013 07:12 PM

Last night I attended his "explosive week in London" concerts and you can obviously see the pressure that this week has had on him. His song She Don't Like The Lights is surrounded by pap imagery and performing that song last night couldn't be more appropriate.

Marsh. 09-03-2013 07:18 PM

^^^ That kind of makes it seem even more staged if he's incorporating references in his concert.

Knowing it'll get him coverage and references to all the other popstar "meltdowns".

Vanessa 09-03-2013 07:20 PM

I don't know. He does seem under a lot of pressure lately. :suspect:

Well I think the imagery has been used since the start of the tour (which began in 2012) but there is references to the cost of fame in his tour. The concert is very "me me me".

An excerpt from last night. This does not show the prior interlude.

Justin Bieber goes on another rant about the press, throws Lindsay Lohan into the mix too

Justin Bieber has gone off on another rant this afternoon - following a string of pretty disastrous events for the Canadian popstar.

The 19-year-old, who turned up two-hours late to his London tour date, had a clash with a photographer and nearly fainted on stage, took to Instagram to slag off the press - and weirdly Lindsay Lohan.

Biebs posted the below essay on his Instagram page, before quickly deleting it - but not before a fan could snatch a sneaky screen-grab first.

Here's what he said:

"Everyone in my team has been telling me, "Keep the press happy," but I'm tired of all the countless lies in the press right now. Saying I'm going to rehab and how my family is disappointed in me.

"My family is beyond proud, and nothing's been said by them. My grandparents wouldn't know how to reach [the] press even [if] they did want to so that was a lie. And rehab, c'mon. If anyone believes I need rehab that's their own stupidity lol.

"I'm 19 with 5 number one albums, 19 and I've seen the whole world. 19 and I've accomplished more than I could've ever dreamed of, I'm 19 and it must be scary to some people to think that this is just the beginning.

I know my talent level and I know I got my head on straight. I know who I am and I know who I'm not. My message is to believe. My albums could be about anything but my messages have been to never say never and believe, not to believe in me, but to believe in yourself.

"I honestly don't care if you don't believe in me because I believe in me, and look where that's gotten me so far . . . I'm writing this with a smile on my face and love in my heart. Letting you know first hand how I feel rather than have these [stories] linger.

I'm a good person with a big heart. And don't think I deserve all this negative press. I've worked my ass off to get where I am and my hard work doesn't stop here. I'm growing up finding myself while having people watch me and criticize me everyday. I think I'm doing pretty damn good.

And to those comparing me to Lindsey Lohan, look at her 2012 tax stat."

Black Dagger 15-03-2013 07:25 AM

The press keep this little twat relevant, he should be bloody more grateful.

Justin Bieber has been accused of battery and is currently being investigated by police, it has been reported.

According to TMZ, the 19-year-old 'Boyfriend' singer got into a "verbal altercation" with a male neighbour just after 9am local time today (March 26) at his house in Calabasas, California.
Insiders close to Bieber's security claimed that the neighbour confronted Bieber as he was angry about loud parties supposedly taking place at the residence while the singer was away on tour.

However, another neighbour suggested to the website that the apparent argument was over the singer driving his noisy new Ferrari at breakneck speeds on his nearby streets.

LA County Sheriff spokesperson Steve Whitmore said the accuser - who filed a battery report - alleged Bieber made "physical contact" and "threatened" him.

Sources described the argument as "intense" but insisted that the Canadian popstar did not make physical contact and just told the man to leave the property.

It was recently reported that Bieber is planning to release a second 3D concert film, incorporating footage of his eventful trip to London, where he arrived two hours late to a show and was hospitalised after being taken ill during another gig.
