The poor wee soul! I knew this would turn out this way. I just had a feeling this morning he was already dead :(

Does anybody know where in fife his body was found?

GypsyGoth 18-01-2014 12:51 AM

I don't think they released that info Lee.

Jemal 18-01-2014 12:56 AM

Whats the whole plot of this btw?
Just seen the news that hes dead.
But why are ppl blaming his mum? Is it similar to Madaleine saga?

Lee. 18-01-2014 01:04 AM

She's from Kirkcaldy in fife originally, I wonder if there's some connection there?

GypsyGoth 18-01-2014 01:04 AM

From what I know it's very different to Madaleine's case.

The mom reported this boy missing, saying he walked out of the house himself in the middle of the night.

I'm guessing police found cctv footage proving the mom was telling lies. Anyway she's under arrest and the boy's body was found in Fife, miles from where the family lived.

People aren't blaming the mum.. She's been arrested so there must be some evidence..

Jemal 18-01-2014 01:07 AM

Just seen that fife and Edinburgh are quite far apart.
Hmm..

Jemal 18-01-2014 01:09 AM

Also the young lad hadn't been seen at nursery before christmas?

Hmm..

Parts of it are.. But I'm in fife and am about 20 minutes away from Edinburgh. Fifes a reasonable sized county though. He definitely couldn't have wandered here from Edinburgh though.. He'd have had to cross the Forth Bridge.

So true. It's awful that we are hearing about things like this happening all the time. Another poor little child gone. R.I.P Mikaeel

Lee. 18-01-2014 01:27 AM

According to a friend, there's a lot of police activity near Rosyth which is just over the Forth Road Bridge from Edinburgh. Might not be connected though.

Jemal 18-01-2014 01:28 AM

Is it fully confirmed that the body is actually the boy?

I think so.. They've called off the search anyway and arrested the mum. God if what I'm hearing is true, I must have driven past where was found this morning! :(

I just watched the chief police fella talking about it.. He was almost in tears himself. So so sad.

Jemal 18-01-2014 01:38 AM

sigh.
what a **** mother, if all this is down to her i actually hope she rots in hell lol.

Ammi 18-01-2014 04:07 AM

..it's always inconceivable to me that a mother could harm their child in any way...this is so, so sad...

Yes until
the Slow police tell us more

Marc 18-01-2014 08:06 AM

We should really employ people to be in the fast police

Jemal 18-01-2014 08:06 AM

Lmao

AnnieK 18-01-2014 08:11 AM

Oh, that poor child  I think she had 3 other children too whose lives will never be the same now. It's just heartbreaking

Nedusa 18-01-2014 08:40 AM

Just heard this news, so sad I wonder if the mother killed him accidentally and then panicked and each passing day became more and more desparate.

Terrible situation mothers don't normally kill their children , must be more to this perhaps she has mental health issues, what a sad situation and for his twin brother also who may be now removed from her care.....!!

Jemal 18-01-2014 09:02 AM

Ergh found in this auntiess house.
Lord help these idiots

Kate! 18-01-2014 09:06 AM

This is dreadful. :( God bless him, another little angel in heaven. R.I.P.

Josy 18-01-2014 09:32 AM

She visited the house alone sometime last week, I'm confused none of the other kids mentioned anything in front of the police about him not being there just before they got involved? unless they weren't around.

I honestly can't understand how a parent or anyone for that matter can do things like this especially to an innocent little kid and then have the gall to lead the police and the hundreds of civilians who turn up out of the kindess of their hearts to help on a wild goose chase all the time knowing exactly what has happened, there seems to be more of that happening these days though, they somehow think they will get away with it.

Maybe they expect to cash in from a fund, like some others did

This story is so sad..I was honestly expecting it to be the dad nicked him (read somewhere about a custody battle)

RIP little one. Cant imagine hurting any child, let alone my own

Ah yeah good point Vicky I never thought of that.

I also thought his dad had taken him at first but after the news came out about him not being at nursery and that I got a feeling something wasn't right.

Poor wee soul.

Vicky. 18-01-2014 09:52 AM

Didnt know about the nursery thing. Last I heard was custody battle and kid gone.

I was told about this by a taxi driver on the way back from work last night. Its just disgusting. Even if it turns out he wasnt killed, but the body was just hid after he died, thats just as sick to me tbh

Kazanne 18-01-2014 10:05 AM

So bloody sad ,you just knew it wasn't right didn't you ?

Ninastar 18-01-2014 10:07 AM

I knew it. It sounds awful but they should always look at the parents first in these types of circumstances...

were there no social workers involved or anything?

I think they usually do..parents then close family, and work outwards from there as the massive majority of the time 'missing' kids have something to do with the family.

I wonder if the aunt will be arrested too..as I find it a bit hard to believe if the body was found there she had no idea :/

I read somewhere last night that when they lived in Kirkcaldy, she was known to social services :(

Ninastar 18-01-2014 10:19 AM

lol someone on my facebook just told me that it might not be the mother

come on... it's been a little obvious since the start

there is something very wrong with social services in this country. they should be allowed more power. they have to wait so long before they can actually do something and it's sad.

I wonder if anyone at the nursery suspected anything. if we have a child off for so long, we get concerned and make calls.

At the minute I don't think she's been charged or even formally arrested, just detained to help the police with their investigation... I'm keeping an open mind just now, but although I really don't want it to be her, she must have known what had happened to him..
