Jemal 06-06-2014 08:27 AM

Anything under 2M is a epic fail lol

Jake. 06-06-2014 08:28 AM

God

Jake. 06-06-2014 08:41 AM

2.1, same as last year

jackc1806 06-06-2014 08:42 AM

Not surprised

iRyan 06-06-2014 08:43 AM

Still good news I guess. As long as it doesn't decrease.

Jake. 06-06-2014 08:44 AM

Beat C4

C4 #ComedyGala 2014 tickled the funnybone of 1.8m/10.8% (Total), and peaked at 2.4m (12.5%)

*mazedsalv** 06-06-2014 08:45 AM

Same as last year, but I'm disappointed. I don't think it will hold like last years 2nd launch.

King Gizzard 06-06-2014 08:45 AM

7.3m

*mazedsalv** 06-06-2014 08:46 AM

Same as last year, but quite disappointed. I don't think it will hold onto 2nd launch like last year.

King Gizzard 06-06-2014 08:46 AM

still think 1m+ is always really good for this show when you compare it to other daily television shows

jackc1806 06-06-2014 08:47 AM

Wanna see the peak

jackc1806 06-06-2014 08:50 AM

Same figure but definite increase of share, over 10% this time last time was 9%

"@overnightstv: #FromThereToHere drew 3.2m/15.2% to BBC1 at 9pm, ahead of ITV's #LifeofRyan 1.7m/8.3% at 9pm and 125.3k/0.8% on +1 http://t.co/Gu75jKfL7Z"

Beat ITV and C4

Poor night all round

Jake. 06-06-2014 09:00 AM

Was literally about to post that lol

Jake. 06-06-2014 09:07 AM

Good that it came third at least

Jake. 06-06-2014 09:08 AM

And share of 10.8%, higher than last years

jackc1806 06-06-2014 09:09 AM

Did BBC2 beat it :umm2:

Jake. 06-06-2014 09:14 AM

Not sure yet

Launch Night Pt. 1 - Ratings!

According to Tellymix, the first launch last night averaged 2.1 million viewers. This is identical to last years Secrets and Lies launch. It also because the second most watched channel in the 9pm slot, only being beaten by BBC One!

Good to know the ratings are still holding up fair..

In case you wondered, the Ryan Giggs documentary gained 1.7 million viewers on ITV and the comedy gala on C4 had 1.8 million viewers. Here's hoping tonight competition doesn't slow ratings down!?

Who's your fave too?

daniel-lewis-1985 06-06-2014 10:07 AM

I knew they wouldn't be big and I cant see those ratings going up like last years for the second launch.

Jordan. 06-06-2014 10:10 AM

Terrible tbh

daniel-lewis-1985 06-06-2014 10:11 AM

Really disappointed but I knew it would be around that mark.

I cannot see it holding onto the viewers tonight either like last years did seeing as last nights housemates were all so samey.

Its 2.03 without plus 1 remember last years was 1.99 without plus 1 so a slight increase lol.

Do we know what the peak was?

Cal. 06-06-2014 10:11 AM

Hmm.

daniel-lewis-1985 06-06-2014 10:18 AM

Theres a ratings thread btw. This should be merged.

Not for Ch5

Ratings are different nowadays compared to 10 years ago. 2 million is good.

Jamesy 06-06-2014 10:26 AM

That's pretty good really. If it's the same as last year that's not bad at all, at least things are consistent!

I'm worried with the housemates being similar last night we'll see a sharp drop in figures tonight.

Yes but 2 years ago it was launching with 2.7 and with the success of Januarys series everyone was expecting around 2.5.

I actually called 2 million after watching last nights show I don't think it grabbed people.

Rob! 06-06-2014 10:30 AM

Could have been worse. Can't see the amazing retention rate happening again but pleased it hasn't gone down from last year.

2.7 after a finale of 3 million the night before.. it's matched last year/got a higher share which is at least double what 5 have been getting in the past four months, I'm happy

Rob! 06-06-2014 10:35 AM

And to be only beaten by BBC1 is pretty good.

Exactly, the fact everything was low last night must say something

Rob! 06-06-2014 10:39 AM
