Because people get butthurt and ring Ofcom, which gets them in trouble. Then they have to be seen as taking action.

I disagree, if they were doing what the people wanted they would have kicked her out or atleast revoked her pass by now. Anyway, we're going round in circles here, you don't think she's a vile bully, I do. The End.

Just that some people might perceive her as one.

Doesn't make her a bully.

You asked for a warning where the "word bullying was mentioned" you got it.

Nobody said it would prove conclusively and make you change your mind.

Marsh. 09-07-2014 03:35 PM

"You cheeky ****ing bastard" does make me howl though.

What I meant was where she was warned for being a bully. I guess it didn't translate from my head in that way.

Because people were complaining and having a meltdown online that whole weekend that they weren't doing anything and it was starting to get media attention so to quieten people down they gave people what they wanted

If she actually was bullying people they'd say 'Big Brother deems this behaviour to be bullying and is issuing you with a formal warning' (there's no interpretation mentioned whenever they are serious about a warning), the fact they said it could be interpreted as bullying speaks volumes about whether they consider it to be IMO and I think it's basically saying 'a lot of the viewers think it's bullying so we're telling you'

That is not true at all, not everyone wants her out. So you do not speak on behalf of 'the people', just a very small section of them.

None of you can debate for toffee, honestly.

Exactly what Jack said.

Never bullied at school were you?

I personally wouldn't care if people bitched about me behind my back. It's their problem, not mine.

MeMyselfAndI 09-07-2014 03:47 PM

Helen is a nasty bully, the way she walked out laughing with other girls, making someone feel uncomfortable

"I've seen loads of stuff.. seen people bitching hahahahahaha"
"It was so great to see peoples true colours hahahahah"

before it even happened, Jale, Kim, Helen are ****ing awful

So what does the inclusion of the word 'the' add to your post? That's right, it implies all people, and gives it a whole different meaning. It would have been perfectly legible without it and I would not have made the reply that I did.

Don't be ridiculous, If I thought all the people hate Helen, then how would I be here arguing with you about her? I don't believe for a second that you thought that's what I meant but nice try anyhow :hehe:

Marsh. 09-07-2014 04:01 PM

Oh for god's sake, this is beyond a joke now.

All I had to go on was what you wrote. What you wrote suggested that you represent 'all people'.

You've clarified that you meant otherwise. That's fine

The bully hellen needs to return to the depths of the deep pit of putridness from which the creature came where she can scream at her self while jerking of orcs for kit kats
and yell at 18 yr old trees.

never seen her put a sentence together yet that made any sence

No, I'm defending

a) entertaining housemates
b) housemates that are accused of being bullies when they aren't

And where did I say I disagree with that? I know they would and I know that's sexist double standards, I wouldn't agree with them being removed either

Marsh. 09-07-2014 04:18 PM

Yes, one mans perception of 'what went down'

Ammi 09-07-2014 05:22 PM

..how would anyone even know if Helen had any valid points.....just about everything she says is lost in her anger and obscenities and anything any of the other housemate’s would have contributed as well...there have only been a few times when someone has been ‘allowed’ to speak above her, but that wasn’t something she allowed or liked when they have done it because it’s usually and rightly to try to make her see her behaviour/but no she doesn’t want to face that...Helen, the big ‘facer’ pffft...I think the main thing she was bothered about in the vids was that she herself felt stupid , she didn’t really care what Ashleigh had said about anyone...she said something along that vein on a BBOT’s clip that no one gets the better of her or gets one over on her..something like that..she’s not ’refreshing’ or honest at all because like just about every coward who acts like Helen, she can give it/can’t take it and can’t accept any criticism or that she’s ever in the wrong...that’s not being honest..?...she doesn’t even let her clique of friends speak most of the time and especially if they were ever to trying to point out her wrongs to her,...because she’s always right, always right, always right...she’s like a child, she has no reasoning or rationing whatsoever...she never seems to reflect on anything and see where her faults have lain...for me...’dramas’ in the house can be good and arguments etc and we’ve had some great lines from housemates in the past from those situations which kind of balance it all and make it funny as well and good viewing....the kind of one liners we remember but with this house and Helen, there is no room for that, there are so few of them from housemates like Mark because there are so few times that Helen isn’t screeching over everyone and will actually allow anyone else ‘their moments’....it’s not a balanced house, it will never be a balanced house because Helen doesn’t want it to be a balanced house..she wants a house of people who agree with her and hang on her every word and cheer her abuse and insults....

..it must have been really frustrating for BB to have engineered this ‘controversial housemate’ that would clash with just about everyone and then see the much awaited Ashleigh V Helen thing not happen because Helen never hushes up long enough with her ranting so people have learned not to ‘confront’... so they had to engineer that as well....hopefully for the sake of the other housemates, they’ll have a ‘mute Helen for the day’ task and then maybe everyone's valid points might be heard....

Macie Lightfoot 09-07-2014 05:27 PM

I'm aware that for some reason Helen has fans but I don't even know why it's still up for debate whether or not she's a bully. She has no redeemable qualities of her own so she operates by making outsiders out of others and shouting them down so they have no voice and her cronies stay loyal to her, since she can't simply have friends with her abhorrent personality. Like, in at least the most playground sense of the word, she's a HUGE ****ing bully that is pretty much fact.

Kizzy 09-07-2014 05:31 PM

I listen to what she says not how she says it, and if you remove the colloquialisms and the swears she nearly always has a good point.
