It hasn't been. Only about one housemate. Who is so concerned about being seen that way he's covered his own ass by trying to make out Harry will make him look like a bully, when it's perfectly clear he's done that himself. To some of us anyway.

Harry gives as good as she gets.

Oh,lol, getting angry :nono:,we've done the debating ,Marc is NOT bullying anyone, this thread is going round in circles,it makes sense to switch something off if you don't like it.:hehe:

In the other thread I was told that people at the far end of the country still use it in that context but I'm not talking about the opposite side of Ireland, I'm talking about a couple of minutes down the road which I know fairly well. There's a fair difference in colloquial language between Dublin and Cork.

thats like saying people in newcastle can use the n word while people further south cant.

I cant stand Marc and I don't like Harry either (disappointed in her as I liked her when she came into the house). However Marc isn't BULLYING anyone. When Marc came into the house first everyone hated him specially Jade as she said she knew him in Dublin and he was a creep. In a few short days he had her turned around and has continued to work the house since then. Danny had a right go at him the first night and a few times that first week now he is eating out of his hand.

In the past two weeks since Marc entered the house the only person who has truly stood up to him is Harry. THATS why Marc hates her. He wants to own the house and to be honest he had been doing a mega job in it. I love Jade but I was disappointed how she did a 360 degree turnaround on her opinion of him. He ramrodded the whole house and took everything to excess with his ABSOLUTELY AWFUL language specially the sexual content, his prancing around the house naked, his disruption of tasks etc. He never expected that Harry would call him out over anything. Now he is turning all his little followers into Harry bashers. He will work his way through them all. Already he he has the other two newbies Sam and Simon in his lair. I am definitely not a Harry fan but she integrated with the other housemates since night one and that's why its the other three newbies are up for the FAKE eviction. Marc is possibly one of the vilest contestants I have ever seen on BB and HE WONT BE TURNING ME like he did the others. Vile and horrible and I wish with all my heart he was truly being evicted. Now he will have a huge advantage of having the three witches (former housemates) on side and will most possibly avoid real eviction for another two weeks !!!!!!

Works both ways Kaz, if you don't like Harry's choice to walk around topless turn off.

Vicky. 11-06-2015 02:24 PM

Nope. They were as bad as each other.

At this stage though it really does seem hes trying to not have contact with her at all whenever possible. Now it seems its her with the problem. As she can't get a rise out of him, shes starting on Sam again

He's not avoiding her and he talks about her constantly when she's not in the room.

Hardly avoiding her lol

Difference is I never said I was not going to watch,Beetlejuice did:laugh: I also didn't say I didn't like her walking round topless,I said there was no need and there isn't,but I really cant be arsed with debating about her being naked again,it's been done to death.

No, it makes sense to be critical of it.

She talks about him more, and he does avoid contact with her...which she asked for btw

BB encourages conflict.

BB is also guilty of double standards - warning HMs for causing upset, while designing tasks for HMs that deliberately create upset. Ejecting HMs for indecent exposure then replacing 'dull' HMs with ones that regularly expose themselves.

But here we all are - still watching!

I'm surprised that so many viewers still haven't realised the nature and patterns of BB and cry 'bully' every time BB does it's job of racking up the tension.

I don't get why certain people watch the show if they hate this type of conflict so much?

I hate horror films - so I never watch them. I don't watch them and then act all surprised and blog about how gory they are.

If you don't like water - keep away from the beach!

Not exactly, it's saying that context and meaning is more important than an arrangement of letters. Racism comes from intent rather than the actual word. It is theoretically possible for the n word to be said by a white person in a non racist context if their upbringing supports that but I've never heard of it being used non racially as a negative.

I'm also not saying its ok for Mark to use that word. As I've said before, I don't use it. I'm just explaining that it isn't racial in context the way he used it. He wasn't being racist. He was using an ugly word but he wasn't being racist.

Exactly.

Even the housemates have been commenting that Marc is trying to stay away from her, and Nick even mentioned that Harry's dislike for Marc has now turned into a vendetta..
