I prefer the original blue print, the one who changed the rules for women in pop music, the one who paved the way so the likes of Madonna, Gwen Steffani, Britney and GaGa could even exist...the one who did it first a decade before Madonna even arrived and that is Debbie Harry...the lineage doesn't go any further back than her, she created it....she was more rock n roll than pop but the image she created has carried on down to women in music ever since.

The Rebel Heart tour is due to be released later this year. As a huge fan (who attended) I cannot wait to experience it again. Think what you will of Madonna and her personal life, but she puts on an incredible show. I love her.
